Breloom was held back due to HP coverage issues and lack of physical secondary STAB. But in ADV, as mentioned, it did have the rare Spore alongside Stun Spore. And the rare dual resistance of Rock and Ground. The P/S split, Poison Heal and Technician boosted it. And it always stayed in UUBL-OU. Can’t wait to see it in SV. Wanted Jynx to get an evolution similar to Electabuzz and Magmar. They always had a similar dex order, their learnsets are still similar to this day and Smoochum evolves at level 30 like Magby and Elekid. Moltres always had a good defensive and offensive typing, and it got options like the rare Will-O-Wisp in ADV, and could maybe run Morning Sun. Then it got Scorching Sands and Heavy Duty Boots. It's nearly impossible to document significant meta game developments in formats like Nintendo cup 1997. However when it does get played (on Showdown spotlight, or in primarily Japanese social media servers) Its developed in a fashion that more revolves around PP stalling with Double team and Rest on pokemon like Jynx, Lapris, Articuno, Jolteon, etc. In that environment gaining a PP advantage is a significant tool... For that reason Ditto of all pokemon has proven it's worth, through a combination of PP and switch stalling Ditto can transform into opposing pokemon and copy +6 evasion in 1 turn while also getting 5 PP per move every time it transforms meaning that it can waist the opponent's PP while staying healthy with Rest it copied over and over again without burning the too much PP of your other Pokémon.

Moltres I didn’t think of because it’s good but still not RBY OU and based on the previous vid I thought candidates had to BECOME CURRENT OU or higher. To which point I was thinking ADV Mr.Mime (Uber by technicality). It’s hilarious how much Moltres gets slept on every Gen though. Fire spinner in 1, surprisingly dangerous Sun abuser and sleep talker in 2, late OU rose in 3, dangerous status abusing offensive rank niche in 4, MOLTRES is hilariously good both on and against RAIN in Gen 5 for ridiculously powerful Hurricane spam and only Fire Blast to OHKO Ferrothorn and 2HKO Jirachi UNDER RAIN. Even in modern Gen both it’s Kanto and Galar formes can do massive OU work on the right team. Some mons just can’t be put down and retain a relevance/personality no matter what, and Moltres as a unique and ever slept-on threat is one of those as surely as Cloyster is an unconventional offensive threat with utility roles, and Blissey is Blissey.

Way to go Moltres on rising through the ranks years later (and the other mons as well). As for other videos I'd like to see more Smash Bros on here as well. You've already done ones on Jigglypuff and Pikachu so a return to other SSB mons (and characters) would be nice to see.

Next video should be the best OU Pokémon of each generations meta game

Please continue with other type of videos, we don't want you to stop your main series but a little fresh air inbetween is great!

Moltres really suffered from its rubber chicken design at the outset. Now that people are over it, it's turning out to be a really good pokemon

Nice to see Golem got its revenge in Rhydon in gen 2. Rhydon outclassed Golem in gen 1, Golem did the same in the next gen.

I would love to see a video that if you had to do a complete overhaul of how stats, typing, abilities, and moves what would you do.

it would be interesting to see something about the most common move of each type in each generation ie in gen 1 blizzard is used over other ice moves almost every time, but in later gens ice beam is more common.
