Just by using 0.5% of his power without his mustache, he dodged arrows coming from behind while fighting Impulse and Xisuma and taking over Iskall's mind and following False. He was G-team's ultimate defense and the Final Boss!!

Little late with this, but the war actually started with phantoms killing Mumbo through a corner and losing a trident, which set up iskall and Grien's gift/prank for him, which Mumbo returned the favor. When Iskall broke the rules set by Mumbo, Mumbo gave him a chest full of diorite, used for the prank on False.

She had a coupon for a free prank, so Grian really had no choice in the matter. And Raigom knew that Stress was on GTeam. If you reread their comment, you'll notice that they say "You and Stress are the MVPs of your teams" Teams as in plural. Stress the MVP of G-Team, False the MVP of Star Team.
