A childs mind cant grap this notion. The human mind isnt near fully maturity until 25 to 26 years of age to understand this. Just because they are 17 or 18 or even 21, they are still a ways from understanding the impact of their behavior. If governments had to wait until kids were 25 before forcing them into the armed forces, it would be much harder to brainwash and condition them to be cold blooded killers who stay in for a life time or pay the ultimate price. The government knows get them at 17 or 18 with an IQ higher than 84 and you can create a complete cold blooded monster to kill at will without questioning you why he is doing it. @@belllllla4995 it happened very quickly, so it’s one bad decision. Sometimes emotions can get real high and men can do crazy things. Men and females are very very different, like we’re hardly similar in our thoughts and experiences and emotions. We are not really even the same species. Like when have you ever heard of a female experiencing depression or being lonely or feeling like a loser? It doesn’t happen obviously cuz females are much more popular and powerful and thus have great lives. I know it’s random but my main point is that I think men in particular should be forgiven legally for these crimes since emotions run high and it’s not under their control, for the most part. He was possessed I guess. Same with guys like Elliot Rodger or the columbine shooters. They weren’t really in control. The thing they did that was smart however was turning the gun on themselves since they didn’t want to go to prison (Cruz made the mistake of letting the police take him alive ). Just my opinion

He is so remorseful he’s willing to die to pay for his sins. HAS ANY ONE PERSON IN THIS THREAD EVER FELT THAT LEVEL OF GUILT AND REMORSE? He wanted to die already being interviewed for heaven sake. What does that tell you about this kid? And yes, to me any one under 25 is a kid who is still maturing. He is a lost soul who has been tortured. BY EVERY ONE WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO PROTECT HIM. But it’s interesting the amount of people on the planet that have a god complex and think THEY have the right to kill him. Do as I say, not as I do. This linching mob and courts who decide to kill him, will they have any remorse for their sins and want to die to pay for it? Clearly they all think they will never be judged or have to answer for their choice to kill some one. It makes me question who are the true lost souls.

He’ll go to heaven because God forgives, and we should do the same. We forgive you Nikolas.

@@Zuriki_ I’m not God and I shouldn’t be judging but luv no matter how nice or mean you are if you don’t believe in God as Jesus coming to this world and die for your sins you will not go to heaven. Just because God forgives that doesn’t mean he’ll go to heaven when he doesn’t even believe in Him and ask for forgiveness

I would have said, “I’m sorry for killing those 17 individual people. Should I receive the death penalty, I’m sorry I’m only allowed to die once…”

I wouldn't apologize if it were my final moments just saying. he knows deep down he liked every second of it, so why not tell the families how he really feels?
