Good story. I like that Blair was not so vindictive and instead helped his brother to understand where he failed and worked hard to repair his mistakes. In the end they have understanding of each others strengths and abilities as well as respect and love.

At 28:14, the SEC barred Jeremy from holding a position as an officer in any company for 5 years, but at 39:14, Blair recommends him for CFO position after 6 months. Derp.

I thought that Jeremy could not hold an officer's position in any company for five years as a condition of his settlement with the SEC. How did Blair find the time to work as both a CEO and a lawyer at her firm?

If the SEC says he can nlt be an officer of any company for 5 years then how can she, after 6 months, appoint him as CFO? Further, is she still working with the law firm or is she running her dads comany she saved?

💯- after law school you’ve likely got a few months before the BAR - then at a minimum 8-9 years before partner (non-equity) and totally dependent on litigation skills, ability to be a rainmaker, or bill like a berserker
