I love these early Family Feud episodes. Dawson had this charm to him that kind of went away later on. He does such a excellent job at explaining the rules of the game to everybody he is the essential Family Feud host. Nobody will ever beat him.

I noticed when FF just started, RD did no kissing, he explained the rules every time, and lots of families passed. Later, the kissin' and playin' was what was done! 😂🤣

For the first question the answer I came up with was John Adams. Then on the second one I thought tests and then spouses. On question three my first answer was headache, then later (but before they started saying it) I thought heartache. Fast Money: 1. Empire State Buidling 2. Cinnamon 3. Uno 4. Seems as though this show may have been intended to straddle, as on some early episodes, they'd have the family for the next game introduced, but not play any game Some have argued it would have been a more fair game to play single valued questions to 200 points, or have each question worth one point and the first family to three would win. The game has always been weighted heavier on the Double/Triple questions(from 1999-2003 the family who won the fourth question virtually always won the game)

Anas al-Dweikat. I will say this -- Steve has the distinction of doing what no other host has done. Turn "Family Feud" into "Filthy Feud." He can take that credit. When a family can no longer watch this show together, he's earned it.
