Feud was already sinking before it even came back with Louie. As good as Richard Dawson was, Jonathan Goodson's canning of Ray Combs was a nasty blow to the show. Richard Karn put some life back into the show, but when John O'Hurley came on board, he breathed full life into it again.

He didn't start out kissing the female contestants but when a woman got nervous Richard gave her a little kiss for luck and it must have rubbed off on people because Richard would go on to kiss every female contestant afterwards, maybe a few exceptions I don't remember. I should also note that all the women who were kissed consented to it before appearing on the show.

The French History question is a great example that it isn't about the "right answer" but what you think people will say. Lafayette would not be that well known in French History. He made his name in America. Plus, "King Louis." tells me people didn't know the numbers. I wouldn't conflate XVI with the XIV.

You know I find it interesting that despite that it looks like all 5 Yorks seem slow-witted, there's the elder Bob, Jeri and Bette (I presume his two daughters if Bette is younger Bob's sister-in-law like was mentioned), then younger Bob (Jeri's husband) and his brother, so the younger and elder Bob are not blood-related despite the fact they both gave awful answers in Fast Money.
