I always have to laugh at Guys with acoustic guitars. What are the same time out to thank them because I won over $500 in a bet in college because of one. I had been going to parties here in there roommate would drag me every so often. But it every single one of them a guy with an acoustic guitar would come in, and the exact same sequence of events would happen. Till one night after exams, we were all just hanging out just kind of relaxing and trying to get over Exams finally being done when lo and behold, a guy walks in with a acoustic guitar. I laughed so hard I was like “ Oh God here comes Wonderwall” A few people looked at me, and someone asked how I knew what he was going to play. And I explained that I see these guys show up at every party in the exact same sequence of events happen every time there’s only a couple minor differences. They show up rummage around, looking for a pack, and then realize it’s in their wallet. They strum the guitar quickly, pretending to tune it, usually just to get attention of every woman in the room, and many of them already drift over to them. And then they start banging out Wonderwall now here’s the only difference. Since Wonderwall is so easy to play on a good acoustic guitar, you’ll either get a guy able to actually know the lyrics and sing it or He’ll just sing the opening part kind of mumble the next, and when we get to the chorus, everybody starts screaming the lyrics. They told me I was full of shit and I told him anybody want to bet on it $500 went down, and I walked away while laughing my ass off as this guy tried to sing the lyrics to Wonderwall

It always is a fun story to pull out every now and again. The funnier part was something I left out is when I walked away. The guy actually chastised me because I didn’t know how to play guitar. Unbeknownst to him my dad I’ve been teaching me since I could actually hold one. I told him to hand it over. I actually turned the thing because it was so badly out of tune and then I just started to play. I didn’t play any song a particular I just showed my skills. By the time I was done and handed it over, basically Everyone’s jaws were dropped. He basically slung out of there. He wasn’t getting laid that night. A few girls did come over to me, but I was seeing someone at the time and I was Not a person to sleep around.
