Hell yeah brother. We’re here for each other. It’s been 1 year for me since I quit cigs, I’m 23 now. It’s not too late no matter your age, I thought I never could but vaping helped me transition from it and then I eventually quit vaping too. I’m not saying it’ll help you but it definitely helped me. From one smoker to another, give it a fair try, find a yummy flavor you like with nicotine and use it instead of cigs. It’s your best shot besides cold turkey / patches. Edit just to say, even if you don’t try vapes, or if you already have, you can quit if someone as hopelessly depressed and self-destructive as I am can. Best of luck friend 🤞🏻 I believe in you.

The thing of it is that he had written that book to make fun of the copy-and-paste self-help “genre”. Which is honestly rather valid. His actual values (books shouldn’t be empty platitudes, weed isn’t all that dangerous, etc.) make it hard for me to hate him, but his quickness to abandon those values makes it hard for me to like him.

Oh trust me Curtis, you don't need post-concussion syndrome nor age to have that happen to you. Late in my High School life (16-17 yrs old) I had a SERIES of AWESOME ideas/ thoughts when I was nowhere near a pen & paper & LOST them by the time I got to my truck. (I STILL think back on that experience with frustration, and while I think only ONE was a "million dollar idea" the rest were still pretty GREAT / creative & I was FURIOUS at losing them!) It's why I became OBSESSED back then with getting a Walkman with a recording function. (I believe that it came out around that time) Just so I could click record & just Say SOMETHING that would remind me of the idea, or give a quick outline of the idea. Sadly, by the time I GOT one, those STELLAR ideas seemed to stop coming.
