Awesome that your brother gets to have this experience, going from having never seen the ocean, to sailing and snorkeling in it overnight, is a pretty big leap.. Pretty cool that you can give that experience to him, and be there to enjoy it with him... memories!!

I'm so stoked to hear that the solar and battery's are working out so well. One thine to note is that a generator HAS TO BE RUN under load for a half hour each month otherwise the part of the generator unit that the brushes run against RUST UP and the genni will quit producing power. HAS HAPPENED TO ME WHEN I WENT LITHIUM and quit using the genni. Went too use it one day it hit 42c and it would not go. Could not get it to run no how, had a mechanic come to see whats up and in the end had to replace it entirely. The moto of use it or lose it took on new meaning to me then. CHEERS AND FAIR WINDS Steve h.

Anyway of getting the batteries out of the bilge, maybe the bottom of the companion way. I remember boat maintenance well, would always cost a boat unit ($1000) whatever you did. Nice to show family what your doing with life, nice one.
@TaylorsTravels2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately not! The boat was manufactured to have them there and there is no other space in the boat that can accommodate the battery bank. Right below the companionway is also part of the bilge.

Just like in the military, our friendships are somewhat short termed. But some are lasting friendships for life. I think perhaps yours are less "permanent" than those of us in the military. While both are formed on the premise that we keep each other safe, in the military we are focused on keeping each other alive. This is one of the strongest bonds. I am not discounting your friendship bonds, only supporting them. I am not explaining this right. We all support and care for each other, some bonds are just stronger.

My grandmother lived 87 years without driving a car or seeing the beach. We took her to Destin and she was like a kid again. I'll never forget that.
@scotthead5492 жыл бұрын
I just have to tell you this. That day was many first times for her. She saw a beach and walked on it, she traveled more than 10 miles from her house, she rode a elevator, she ate seafood for the first time, she rode on a boat for the first time, got sand between her toes, got waist deep in the Gulf Of Mexico. Reeled in her first fish. And finally we let her drive a car in a empty parking lot in a circle. Lol. It was the best two days of my life and I know it was hers too. My mother is the youngest of her 14 kids. They lived deep in the country of Alabama. Her life was taking care of the house and kids. I think I could write a book and seriously thinking about it. I tell people this and they don't believe me but.its 100% true.

oh sorry it's under wildwinds or something, he;s somewhere in greece. peace! sea you lates. oh wait I don't fully understand where you are and I don't have any lights on so it;s mostly hard to type but I got a great tramp for my hobie from SLO sails in San Luis Obisbo, the same place my first true love went to college and I'm an idiot but DON'T push this against them, I only bought the trampoline a year ago and i left her, more than 20 years ago, note the lower cased i. idiot. either way he's a good sailmaker but Itls hard to type in the dark. and I don't edit. I delete a little, but I rarely edit. do what you want in life, don't forget it.

A+ are you familiar with joseph bennett and his whole town of clues on hobie stuff, specifically the 16? I don't know how to send you anything, just look up hobie and he's usually at the top. some of his vids are really long but informative, and some are really short, so pick and choose. it really depends on whether you can livestream for an hour on fridays to be in the loop, otw he's been really great to me with getting back to me about questions (but I guess that's what youtube is about) if you're in canerder do you know outdoor chef life? a collab would be amazeballs. he's passing back through there from alaska. check him out and I'll guarantee you will love him, but Be careful about scammers beceause I keep getting responses from him that there's no way i deserve so I think he's being targeted. edit as necessary, I KNOW you're GOOD at that. And keep having a nice life. Keep it on film, I love it. You were the flower in everyone's hair while you were on delos, and I like flowers.

How can Taylor pay the bills(fuel/food/parts/fees) without sponsorships, patreon, merch, one time thankyou's... KZbin does not do enough at her sub rate, so somehow gotta make up the difference, even La Vaga, Delos do sponsorships, so anyone got a better idea. We love to see her sail and adventure... How about a better merch item, anyone got a creative business streak in them. Make "Taylors Moonshine Mixers", Throws, ... something that would bring in enough to pay for it all? Perhaps a $1k/week Air BnB adventure on Taylors yacht?
