Teaming up with the LEGENDARY Sailing Family SV DELOS - S2EP22

In this episode Sea Gypsy gets towed to her resting place where the work of replacing the engine will be done. As this chapter of my adventure comes to a close another begins to unfold. Luckily my path aligned with some legends within the KZbin sailing community - ‪@svdelos‬
I hop aboard as crew in Key West to help sail to the Dry Tortugas and beyond!

What a great experience sailing with Brian. He is a master sailor and can fix everything on Delos. You got a PhD in sailing and a glimpse of motherhood all at the same time. Priceless. Taylor is quite the sailor,diver and nugget watcher. She plus all the visitors I think are good for the baby Nugg's. She gets to see other facial expressions and just other ways in general. She is going to be some great adventurer. I just no she is going to be something great as a teen and adult.

Here are two insights I have thought up you and the others might rnjiy.. 1)..."There are as many horizons as there are places to stand (or sail)" applies to philosophies and such.. and I recently began adding "and yet there is but ONE Earth 🌎 on which to stand" the better perspective is from Earths center as a sphere like globe 🌎 and from that new perspective the photos of our lovely fragile world alluded to from out in space looking back....when we sit at Earths center looking up and in all directions there is but ONE horizon 😀 and that is the new perspective we humans need to find on our hearts and end the problems of division threatening all ...

The Bird on Brian's head was a Barn Swallow which fly's South for the winter months and then North to breed in the Summer months in Northern USA & Canada

Hi Taylor i follow your channel from the begging also i follow sailing doodles for years . Im from Canada my boat is in Kincardine Marina. Soon getting a slip in Blue water(Bayfield). I got towed 3 times already in last 2 years so i know how did you feel. Don't let it get you down this is just part of the boating fun. Personally every towing got me stronger.The 3 rd one was a bit more serious then the other because i had 9 people on board we got stranded out for 2 hours. Some were getting sea sick, cost guard was far, with no towing boat available.We got out with a memory and story which we never gonna forget.

Hey Brian, thanks for brining Taylor aboard as crew and second mommy for Sienna, the "little nugget". Taylor and Sienna, "Little Nugget", immediately bonded together and became fast friends. I think it was exactly what Taylor needed and Sierra wanted. Watched the second half today and love the modernized raising, deploying or introducing the sails to the wind and easy trimming of them .. pruning back the over growth (with a button or winch) rather than shears all from the cockpit. SWEET as was Taylor's gentle touch with that little bird. 😍
