Pete isn’t in anywhere near enough Abroad in Japan videos. Chris always says the Journey Across Japan videos Pete’s in have low views. I say screw views, they are definitely some of my favourite vids on the entire channel. We need more Pete ❤ Absolute gold.

LOL about the Kool-aid: As an American person, you are to add your own sugar to it to sweeten it. It's not like Tang which has sweetener included. In america the packets of kool-aid you could get 10 for a dollar (in 1990's money) and could mix different flavors together as you like. Red was always the favorite flavor (I said Red, not strawberry or raspberry, Red)
@gagamba9198Ай бұрын
Purple is a good flavour as well.

Pete, I had laser therapy on both of my shoulders after dealing with debilitating "distal clavical osteolysis" (or just an overuse injury to keep it simple) for a year. It had gotten to the point where I couldn't lift my shoulders over my head or sleep properly in any position. After two sessions, my shoulders were practically healed. It was like "a magic", I was stunned. All that discomfort.. gone in two sessions! Check it out and see if there are any clinics in the UK that offer laser therapy!
@aoitamashiiАй бұрын
I got a repetitive stress injury on mine as well from lifting bags at max extension too many times over the years. Did PT and it's 80% better, but I can still feel it bother me a little bit. I wonder if that would help me as well.

Depending on the type/reason for the joint pain it's probably best to do low impact/pressure (body weight) excercises to create muscle mass that can help support the joints. If that still results in pain consider excercise that supports your body via water. Swimming or water aerobics can fill those roles.
@deoxxysАй бұрын
I was wondering this myself. I used to love to work out but I've hardly been able to because of joint pain. I find that I can't go past right angles.
@xt6wagon13 күн бұрын
Can say "doing it wrong" pulling weeds with my back really helped my back pain. So light wieght high rep done oddly seems key. You don't need to lift a tank, you need the supporting muscles a wieght machine doesn't give you.

Thank you. 1. Jade is the gift for the 35th anniversary. It is very appropriate for turning 35 in Japan. 2. Here in the USA, we would call the extra footage featuring Pete, outakes, or, better yet, gag-reels. Does AIJ have any outakes or gag-reels? 3. I must not be alone thinking that all AIJ content are gag-reels. Other YT creators would label all as outakes. 😂

Pete, re: Kool aid, we used to sell those little sachets of it, turns out you use one of those to make up almost 2 litres with a ton of sugar added. I recommend adding it to a bottle of Sprite or something that is already sweetened, but SLOWLY; it's quite volatile so it foams up quickly and stains incredibly easily.

Yo, having a lost family member buried in a foreign country and actually finding the grave, that really is an Indiana Jones type of adventure. My first impression of japanese graveyards was, when I walked the benten-trail in Kamakura and smelling the place first, Due to the amount of incense sticks burning.

31:35 Edo Mura! Been there ages ago, first trip to Japan. It's pretty neat! xD Let me put it this way... it has a bit of an amusement park vibe, and it's definitely tourist-y, so don't expect a faithful historical reproduction yadda yadda. I think a good portion of it is kinda targeted for kids. But I still remember lots of things from it, over 10 years after the trip so... it's at the very least memorable. Probably changed quite a lot from the time I went though. I've been hearing about it over the years, lots of stuff I don't remember being there, particularly on activities and whatnot. I think last time I saw something about it was from John Daub. In fact... it's called Edo Wonderland now, isn't it?
