FAMILY MEAL IDEAS | QUICK FAMILY DINNER IDEAS uk 2020 | EILIDH WELLS

As promised! Here's some family meal ideas that we have had over the last 4 days :)
PIZZA SAUCE RECIPE (from takeaway secrets book)
2 clove of garlic
1 x 400g tin of plum tomatoes
2 tsp of dried basil or dried italian herbs
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 tsp salt
pinch of black pepper
1. In a small frying pan, heat the olive oil over a low heat, slice garlic and add to the pan. Stir fry for the garlic for 1 min. Add the tin of tomatoes, dried basil, sugar, salt and black pepper.
2. Increase the heat and bring pan to the boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 15-20 mins. Remove sauce from heat and set aside to cool for a few mins.
3. Once cooled, use hand blender until smooth. Allow to cool completely and store in the fridge for up to 3 days.

You definitely could! I’m not a fan of coconut milk myself but I think it would be a good combo with the banana too!

Hi..i live your channel and watch your routine and organizing cleaning videos for ideas. I am 55 year old grandma and babysit for my 5 year old grand daughter and 18 month old boy that is very naughty and has no attention span for toys or tv. Two questions you get a lot done..you find anything that really helps with your youngest to stay busy? Not too many toys out? In have two corners in my living room that is bursting and always a mess. He dumps toys and doesn't play. Also where do you keep your garbage or rubbish cans? I haven't seen it in your kitchen or bathroom. Any advice would help. Cutting back my stuff today in my kitchen ....like you I have a small kitchen but mine is cluttered. Any advice I would be thrilled with. Thank you

Marcus is almost 18 months and exactly the same so it’s totally normal for that age! Oliver didn’t sit and watch TV until he was 3, he was just never interested and couldn’t sit still. I think you need to play with something different every 15 mins or so, if I’m trying to get something done I will give Marcus pots and pans to play with on the kitchen floor. But in all honesty I really don’t get a lot done usually - my husband is at home just now due to lockdown so that’s what’s giving me a break but normally we only manage the very basics in a day lol. We have a very small bin on the inside of one of our cupboards so we always end up taking the bin out several times a day!

It’s not clean honestly, it’s a mess 99% of the time I just film when it’s clean 🤣 watch the start of my cleaning videos and you’ll see the ‘before’ ... that’s what it’s usually like at the moment!
