Following the sentencing of Lori Vallow Daybell on Monday, July 31, 2023 in St. Anthony, Idaho, family members of Tylee Ryan, Joshua "JJ" Vallow, and Tammy Daybell spoke to reporters and shared their thoughts on the judge's decision.
Lori Vallow Daybell was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

He was so right - if you see something, SAY SOMETHING! Family love is one thing, but we don't owe each other covering up of murdered children's graves! As Lori's niece Megan said, sometimes the best way to show love for someone is to bring them to accountability. All these victims were abused for months, Chad was announcing they were to die for MONTHS in advance, and no one said a single word! Had anyone acted to protect the children, they may have still been alive today. Instead, people either ignored or actually believed Chad and his sick, derranged fanatical fantasies of zombies, death percentages, spiritual battles, portals and warriors, visions and demonic possessions, reincarnations, goddesses, past lives sex and heaven knows what! People believed that he was, as he claimed, a brother of Jesus Christ in his past life! I mean, really! I also hope that his children will finally abandon the idea of him being innocent and that all that happened was because he was "seduced by a bad woman." I hope that they will finally face the horrible truth, stand up for their mother and honour her memory. Tammy was emotionally abused, denigrated, controlled, exploited and cheated on by Chad her entire life, so I sincerely hope that, however difficult it may be, her children will not let him and his defense team try to shift all blame on Lori and disrespect their mother's memory one last time. Tammy, Charles, Joe Ryan, JJ and Tylee all deserved so much better! And I want to see both Melanies have their day in court - Melaniece for her and Alex Cox trying to murder Brandon and that lying Melanie Gibb for being actively involved in the entire saga of abuse from the begining till the end. Instead of saying something to protect the children, she was up to her neck in covering up, until her own hide was in danger so she ratted on her bff Lori. I will never forget how she told Nate that, when Lori told her that JJ was a zombie possessed by a demon, she went there, looked at the child and "tried to DISCERN if he was really possessed!" 🤬 And these deluded fanatics have children!

I think the judge Boyce could have done one more thing that would have had a true impact on Lori. Adam lost perfection for us and then Jesus paved the way to everlasting life. No where in the bible is this woman with a serious vanity problem. At the very beginning of the bible it describes how God made heavens and earth. It talks about the animals but when it explains Adam and eve and the creation of the earth. He said so they may reside forever upon it. She sold her soul it sounds like. All we can do is try to help people and keep reading Gods word because it is alive and it does exert power. Yeah, we shouldn't throw stones, she mentioned that. But what SHE should do, as a grown woman, is to be held accountable for her actions. I know lori was abused as a kid but she could of got some help i feel bad for her but more so those kids cuz I got abused as a kid & I had PTSD ADHD High functioning Autism & I had a father in denial cuz it's taboo and embarrassing to him and he took away all my mom's and embarrassing to him and he took away all my mom's Aunt Sharon's and Aunt Michelle's coping methods that they developed for me as a plan took me out of sports which made me behave 80% better and then I got sent to my uncle who abused me everyday her being disabled and having the neurological disorders and I was also dressed as a tomboy and and thought he could beat it out of me but I got help and became a better person I mean I still throw some guys clothes and I started wearing women's clothes in each 15 but still wearing guys clothes that I didn't need to change but just learned how to get past the PTSD and learn coping methods with counseling and reading self-help books for my ADHD and high functioning autism in the PTSD also started volunteering helping others before I got my bone marrow condition I was born with autoimmune disease like a lot of my relatives I told my Aunt you could have found a rehabilitation center to send me to and got my uncle some help instead of trying to convince him to stop hitting me which never worked very long cuz he would hit me again later he never wanted me there in the first place he didn't want to spend money on a third Kid cuz he was poor as I can so he purposely tormented me and made up stuff that I never did to get my aunt and cousins to hate me to make me leave he told me that he never wanted me there in the first place so I feel really bad for kids that are abused that have mental health issues and neurological conditions cuz ADHD and high functioning autism is not a mental health issue it's a neurological disorder of the brain or the difference between PTSD is a mental health issue tied to a flight or fight response to the brain after being traumatized I mean I'm glad my aunt gave me Saint John's Wort herb and took me off the Ritalin cuz pharmaceutical psychological pills cause brain damage according to biofeedback studies and the natural herb helped me better and with no side effects gets rid of depression and anxiety but stronger I do appreciate her doing that for me and she should have gotten her husband held instead of trying to change him herself cuz I never want and I continue to get abused cuz of it my aunt was actually really good mom to me most of the time and even bought me boys clothes and told my uncle they were really girls clothes or just got me close it looked tomboy like from the girls section but there were times where she guilt-trip me and blamed me for my uncle abusing me I told her my counselor so it's not my fault when I became an adult I'm not responsible for his actions and that they both should have tried harder to find another alternative her husband was abused as a kid and was not in the right mindset to take care of me and could have send me to a farm rehabilitation program instead it's a program where you take care of farm animals that have been rescued from being abused the build-up empathy and have something to relate to and there's a big psychologists there that can help the kids heal from being abused I know a lot of people are picked on or judged who go to psychologists a lot of psychologists don't teach you enough stuff quick enough cuz they want you to keep coming back so they can keep making money off of you Dar some good counselors out there though I'll actually learned more from self-help books then I did counselors but I had a few good ones that taught me a little bit of good stuff to help me heal but being charged by Society by going to a counselor so that makes it hard for people to want to go some people please do not judge people so that they are more likely to go to counseling so they don't commit murders like this
