FAMiLY OF 10 MONTHLY GROCERY HAUL & PANTRY RESTOCK 😉😊

Josh and I went grocery shopping for our monthly grocery haul and to restock the pantry, plus some extra shopping for him 🥰🥰
So before everybody gets upset with me, I definitely wasn’t trying to be bossy with Joshua. He asked if he could be in charge of getting all the food to put into the carts. So I just wanna let you guys know that I didn’t mean to seem pushy but when I edited the video, it could actually seem that way. I’m very very thankful that Josh wanted to help me by getting everything we needed for the next month. I love spending time with Joshua and I’m very happy that he was able to find some stuff for himself because he definitely works really hard and deserves it. I’m also very thankful that you guys all love Joshua so much and you want the best for him. So I just want to put that out there before everybody starts commenting and saying that I wasn’t very nice but I just want to let you know that wasn’t my intentions and so I will definitely work on that. And I know I don’t have to be saying these things but I definitely don’t want you guys to think that I don’t appreciate Joshua because I truly love him so much and I’m so thankful that he wants to spend time with me.
So now, back to the grocery haul, I needed to restock the fridge with fruits and vegetables, because we’re trying really hard to eat right because we have a wedding coming up this summer. And after organizing my pantry, what you’re going to see a tour of it I didn’t realize they had absolutely no beans and tons of continents were gone. Because of my last haul I didn’t really pick a lot of stuff up for that. I was focused more on Whole Foods.
So the next videos are going to be my first dollar tree dinner, a tour of my food pantry, my next dollar tree haul with Izzy and my valentine prep for my kids. And I think Izzy wanted to put together her valentine mix in a longer Vlog.

My son has a disability and this video reminds me of when we walk around the shops together. I wheel him and he is non verbal but I chit chat the whole way round to him and every time I add something to the pile we count it or talk about it. I actually love shopping with him. It’s amazing but he has no words but we just don’t need them! He does so amazing without. Josh is such a stellar young man, he has obviously worked very hard, done such a great job but also felt so much love along the way.

She is so sweet caring I have to say I love big families I follow a couple another I follow is Alicia with the Dougherty Dozen & the difference between how Heather speaks to her kiddos when they go grocery shopping w her thanking them acknowledging how much it means to her that they help her compared to Alicia w James just yea! Any people who might be standing in front of or behind you are going to think all you guy's eat are bean's 😅 I myself really like bean's but I don't really use them in a bunch of recipes, I just make them with hamhocks, bag on or ham, then have fried potatoes, collard green's, catfish and cornbread usrally. I wish I could go back to when my children were small and I cooked big daily meal's, I'd try all the recipes I see today, I could never get them to eat the bean's or fish or even the green's, so had to make Mac and cheese or something else for them so I didn't have it often. I love a lot of food's they still just will not eat, they're missing out!! Thank you so much for sharing!!! Such a nice young man, happy to give mom a helping hand. Josh is such a great helper! He’s such a nice young man!! On another note, Heather have you ever considered making your own spice mixes. If you have access to a bulk food store, it might be cheaper in the long run to make the mixes that you use the most. I know you’re in the kitchen a lot already, so if you got a couple of your kids to help out, by assigning each one a specific seasoning mix or mixes, that would make it go very quickly. Also, a really good place to find recipes for this, is a KZbin channel. It’s Noreen’s Kitchen. I know there are other KZbin channels that also make various mixes.

I did your pulled chicken and homemade tortillas (which after trying and destroying several different recipes for tortillas this worked the first time. Kept extra rolled balls of dough individually wrapped in Saran and just rolled out some for breakfast burritos one day. My husband has corn tortillas perfected but i actually prefer flour) but i decided to make them into enchiladas. Added some chipotles in adobo, because we love spicy. We live in PA right now, not known for great Mexican food, especially when we lived in southern CA for over 30 years.first meal in CA when we visit our daughter is always Mexican food! But loved both of your recipes.

I have a son similar to your Josh. He does work out of the house in a nursing home kitchen. When he is off on his every other weekend, we shop together. We have so much fun shopping together. He finds the items puts them in the cart, and we discuss all we will do with each item. He and I have so much fun.

​@@Justthebells10 oatmilk is really good for baking. I swap it for pancakes, muffins, it usually isn't bad for things that are heated like soups, Mac and cheese. They make plain, vanilla, sweetened, unsweetened. The Dollar Tree even has shelf stable oatmilk and almondmilk.

Hey Heather! Lactaid makes sour cream, ice cream and cottage cheese that has the lactase enzyme in it without changing the taste or texture. Great value has the lactose free milk as well so it’s a bit cheaper than Fair Life. Breyers has a couple of lactose free ice creams too- vanilla, chocolate and I think one other but I can’t remember what flavor!

We do lactose free as well. Cabot brand sharp white cheddar is lactose free, available at Walmart and Costco. Aldi has also just recently offered plant based cream cheese that has a decent consistency and flavor as a substitute for regular cream cheese. We’ve only tried the regular flavor but they offer strawberry and garlic chive. The Lactaid brand products are very good. If you’re looking for a yogurt, we found the SoDelicious brand is great and Chiobani’s zero sugar variety is also lactose free. Have a great week!

Im lucky where i live the supermarket brought out a scan&go app its made my shopping so much easier as i don't have to unload at the check out and the reload my shopping trolley after plus it tells u how much ur spending and saving plus any deals their running comes up when u scan the item. Once finished i go to the self check out scan the app and pay. I dont have to rush packing my shopping as i have the bags packed in the trolley before i pay. I love it especially with large shops like this

I bought those tostada bowls lots of times sometimes you do get some that are broken. Don’t forget to put them in the oven. I forgot that step once and they weren’t edible. with the beans my mum must gets one of the cardboard cases that sit under the beans you know what they are siting on we just grab one of those full and use that so much eaiser to handle we are also a big family so it works for us highly recommend if you know what i am saying :)
