I went to a tea party once we had scones and lemon curd, cucumber finger sandwiches , a high quality delicious butter on a flaky buttermilk biscuit. All kinds of mixed pattern elegant patterned mostly Victorian I think with good trimmings and beautiful embroidered doilies I’ve always imagined to have similar if my daughter ever gets married for a shower or something maybe. So fun

I also remembered they served us from a 3 tier stand each was a course but I don’t remember the order of events I think the butter and bread was top the sandwich middle and sweet at bottom like app savory then sweet but not positive although each had a meaning they read to us
