Family of 9 "no meat" Grocery Haul!! Large Family Living - Mom of 8 Kids!

Recently my husband of 20 years and biological father of our 8 children suddenly passed away (on July 16, 2023). Adjusting to the sudden trauma and shock has been the hardest thing we have had to go through in our entire lives! Our 8 children spent their whole lives having their father by their side at home, guiding them. Now this grave loss has caused a ripple affect not only in our daily lives but emotionally, as well as a great looming uncertainty.

Nice haul Rosalie! It's great that your son wants to eat healthier but it's so hard to give up snacks and treats all at once. Especially when it isn't only you, but also all the kids! Hi Rosalie, I enjoy your grocery shopping hauls. I guess I like to see what others eat. I make instant pot meals quite often. I make a chicken, rice, black beans, and cheese dish that we love. I double the recipe and freeze individual portions and then thaw and wrap in a burrito with some salsa and sour cream. I have never had to cook for a large family. It sounds like the older kids are making healthy food choices. Great! I send love to you and the kiddos.

Yes, I did a short video long ago showing what was for dinner and it was pinto beans with rice mixture. My husband had celiac disease and couldn't eat gluten, so this meal checked all the boxes!

Great shopping Rosie. Bananas here in Australia are expensive. And I’ve noticed everything has gone up in price but got smaller in size. Fruit & vegetables are super expensive but we have to pay the price if we want to eat healthy. Hope you & the kiddies are doing fantastic.🥰🥰
