The society we live in has gone entirely insane! He was a King? By what criteria?!?! So let’s just bring the dead guy to the club and engage in the exact type of activities that lead to his death.

@@ripsaa2693 The world to his community I'm guessing? I don't agree with calling him a king but he seemed to be helping out his community from what I've heard. Listening to his music is debatable though. Also, it obviously wasn't meant to be taken literally. If you call your daughter a princess, it isn't because she's of royal blood but because she means the world to you. The same could be said here.

@@ripsaa2693 That's arguable. I was raised in Indonesia and went to many funerals where we celebrated the body, we do it every 5 years. Digging the body up, redressing, resealing, celebrating, and leaving food for the deceased. That being said my standards of respect for dead bodies are high. I don't feel like this family met those standards as it seemed as if he was simply strung up on a hanger. I've never met the guy so my opinion doesn't hold much weight in the treatment of his body as it didn't seem to be disrespected.

Jim Jones was right. Rapping is the most dangerous profession, makes me wonder why so many choose that. Why is it rappers rap about killing and murdering then everyone is sad when it happens to them? And they gotta know people are gonna have a opinion about anything that’s looked at as unusual. If you don’t care then why mention what people have to say? I think it’s because they know deep down inside that it is a little unusual.

People don’t realize the truth about what happens to a soul after death. If you live a Godless Christless life you will end up in hell. They’re not seeing what’s going on on this side. It’s either you are in glory with Christ and that soul is so overwhelmed with peace joy and worship to the true God, or you’re in a devils hell where there is eternal torment. There’s no middle ground. No one gets into Heaven without their sins being atoned for, and the only sacrifice for sin is Christ. At the end of this life the only thing that will matter is if you know Christ. Don’t be fooled by false teachers and itching eared doctrine. Or by emotional atheist that choose not to believe because they don’t want to be accountable for the filthy lives they choose to live full of fleshy pleasures and idolatry. Don’t get mad or fear the truth, just make the right choice before it’s too late. Death is no respecter of age. Choose this day who ye will serve.

They knew exactly what their family member meant, and especially his mother, who birthed him and raised him. Just because you and other people don’t agree doesn’t mean he say these things light heartedly like you explained in your comment, coming from your point of view. I’m pretty sure they did exactly what he would have wanted them to do. And now I’m pretty sure your family will do exactly what you have instructed for them to do.

Now, I'm not particularly crazy with everyone's decision to have my body torn apart and eaten by alligators at my funeral, but that was Aunt Judy's decision, and I guess I'll just have to live with it. No pun intended. If it makes you feel better, we'll have a cool light show like they have at rock concerts, flashing all over the place, as your body descends from the ceiling on wires. I don't like it but I've seen it before on the internet. I was raised Catholic so I have a certain way of thinking about wakes ingrained in my head. They say "rest in peace" for a reason. I'm not very religious but if God forbid I had to lose a child, they wouldn't be put on display like this as if they were a figure at the Wax Museum. They celebrated his life the way they wanted to but is it the way he would have wanted it? It's like how Bobbi Kristina's wake was set up. They gave her a funeral with a Sweet 16 theme. They certainly didn't give her a party when she was alive. I'm open-minded but it's sick especially since they were paid. May he rest in peace and his soul cross over without conflict because these people are disgraceful.

We get in the and my friend mom who was dead was sitting at the table with sunglasses on, beer in one hand and cards in the other. I have never been so scared. I was crying because I was scared I wanted to leave so bad. My mom took me the bathroom and explained that the Indians (Native American) do funeral like this. Her body stayed in the house for like 2days or something and I never went back over there. Seeing that for the 1st time had me so shook as a kid.

I'm 62. 2 family members passed away in the last three years and I didn't look at the body. I've told my family members to cover my body with a thin piece of cloth so that no one will be disturbed by me . Lots of flowers at the side of my body too.

I just wish that our young men in the black community, instead of wanting to become drill rappers, gang bangers and basketball players would rather want to become accountants, lawyers, firemen, chefs etc etc etc. Those professions are much more practical and not to even mention much more safe. With this thing about the dead partying at a club with people who are alive, all I can say about that is that our people are always putting the focus on the wrong things. Instead of thinking about partying, getting high and sexing all the time, we need to think about nation building. If we did that, I think we as a people would get much further ahead in life. Instead we be ego tripping about the miniscule things in life and making a big deal over those things. Like pigs we like to wallow in the mud as we get enjoyment out of these things and these things don't move the needle in your life when you look back ten, fifteen years. I feel sorry for the young man but we as a people have got to get ourselves together.

What difference does it make whether he's propped up on a stage or laid out in a casket?it's STILL viewing a deceased person's body 🤷🏽‍♀️ It's their family member, they can celebrate whatever way they choose to. You don't have to like it, nor do you have to approve of it 🤷🏽‍♀️ . As if being dressed up laid out in a casket, sitting through a FUNERAL is any better 🤷🏽‍♀️.

Nah, you're wrong. This is pretty much idolatry, and let's not mention the setting!! There's a huge difference between a homegoing service (and i'm not even speaking of a religious one, just in a general sense) where you greive, laugh, and reflect, versus practically clubbing, and turning up with the deceased - i mean, let's not mince words here! Don't even try to compare the two instances. Nothing is wrong with "celebrating" his life on earth - you can do that after he's laid to rest. But to have him propped up like that in a nightclub is simply immoral.

A funeral is open to relatives friends Free, and if he requested this, then it showed us or atleast me how not to be friends with the world and become an enemy to Ahiyah. This was idol to him, his God. The worlds stage and he and family wanted what he loved, to see him one last time on a stage.i mourn( GOODMORNING) if he didn't know the creator, he will stand before him and give an account.study the scripture and see what AHIYAH has to say about this. Alot of the comments against this is true and or common sence. As one comment is, to stop being friends to your children. Parent them as commanded by AHIYAH, spare the rod, spoil the child!

I bet the person or people that killed him was right in there partying with his family, friends and his dead body. Oh and the club charged $10 to get into the club to help them "celebrate". Its all weird, but hey who are we to judge.

People this is not the first time a body has been propped up at a funeral and celebrated. In some places they take the body out of the grave yearly to celebrate it. Let the family grieve how they see fit. I can't imagine what that Mama is going through. 🙏
