Nice recipe. Loved the happy noise of the kids in the background. I raised 5, so it brought back lovely memories.

I'll share another quick trick my grandma taught me 60 years ago...especially when freezing bushels of sweet corn for winter. I use it to this day as well as my aunts. After the par boil and cold water rinse, use an adjustable depth cabbage slicer to clean the cobs. After most kernels are off, apply light pressure on the cob to remove any remaining and the milk. It is quick, easy, and in my opinion, safer than a knife. I made my own slicer from hard maple wood and a stainless steel blade. I've never used a knife on corn.

I noticed your cookware was Lagostina… are you happy with them? I’m planning on getting the cooper set. Are the handles on the pans cast? And sturdy? Love your channel ❤❤

Here is what Rachel had to say: "Yes, I love all my lagostina cookware! The handles are very sturdy and the bottoms are thick enough to help with even cooking. They are not the highest quality pots on the market but I've been using mine every day for over 10 years and have never wished for anything better. "

Honestly, you only need about an inch of water in the pot to cook the corn:) You really do not need a whole pot of water.

Maybe she likes to do it that way. Her video, her way. Maybe you should make a video and show us how you do it. 👍
