I sat wth my second brother as he left this year A father and two brothers gone I can relate to the storey when my youngest brother was to go into rehab My dad drove him to the door but then turned around and took him home. I often wondered what might have happened if he had let him go. But now I have a perspective on the need to keep everyone together. My Mam at 92 does it even now. A living link to five generations

This is an important hopeful perspective for addicts & families, emphasizing that it is a way of coping with loss & trauma over generations, which can be replaced by recovery for all with treatment instead of cover up, thus stopping the repeating cycle of blame & shame

Spectacular. A complete different perspective then the one we see most in the community in the Netherlands. And probably in a lot of countries. As you said, it´s easy to judge. I rather try to understand. Thank you Judith!
