Hey, I’m moving down to Comfort this fall, maybe we could meet up and possibly fly. I am going to be pursuing my license next year. Also, I would love to pick your brain about being an aircraft broker. Thanks

That’s our coastal effect storms you see. We get them every day when it’s warm just about. Most local traffic hugs the coast then cuts up to ECP. You should see the banner planes. Those pilots are amazing.

Love the 850! Cool video, Jesse! 🤙🏼 Also, cool tip I recently heard on proximity to t-storms is instead of the general 20 miles away, it’s a better idea to stay 10 miles away per every 10k’ of vertical development.

I have been working at Tyndall AFB for the past few years in the effort to rebuild to be the most tech advanced , largest military base in the world. .. About two months ago I was working on the flight line in about the dead center location. I cant remember the reason I was looking at my Flight radar 24 app on my phone but the only plane close was a Honda Jet. It was was flying at 3000 AGL on a direct intersection to my location on the flight line so I knew he was not on approach.. As soon as he got right overhead of the military runway he made a hard left and flew directly to ECP and land on 34 straight in. Also his N number did not show up until after he landed. I looked number up after it displayed. It wasn't military it was private own fpm Knoxville TN . My question is how did that plane fly into military airspace a 3000ft? I watch 16's, 22's and 35's take off all day and do unrestricted climbs and this is the only civilian plane I have ever seen in that airspace. Great content BTW I subscribed!
@LookingforHigher4 ай бұрын
Hey Chad, I appreciate you checking out my video. I believe the AFB class D airspace only goes up to 2,500’, which is shocking because we see those fighters ripping around there at much higher altitude sometimes. So, 3,000’ flyover is permissible!

Nice video to watch while I eat my Saturday morning oatmeal! I appreciated the technique talk on the power settings as well as some of the weather avoidance talk. Nice going. You may know a friend of mine who operates a flight school at Boerne Stage. Casey. Keep up the good work! (not easy to fly the planes, manage the family and film it all at the same time!)
