An extremely sincere thank you for this one. Your videos showing the "big name" stars are great, but you have done such a service reminding us that behind the stars there were so many talented actors, performers, and musicians that aren't household names. You give these people the respect and dignity in death that they deserve.

I appreciate those highlighted on today’s tour, especially Mary Ford. She has a place in my life story. Her hit in 1954, “I Really Don’t Want to Know,” asked how many arms have held you, how many lips have kissed you. My mother told me she sang that song to my father as they were on their way to elope! 😂

Back in the late 40's and early 50's when the Globetrotters traveled around the county, going into small towns playing against the locals, my father was on one of those city teams and played against Boid Buie. My father has said of him, "He was simply incredible, watching him play, you would not even think that he had just one arm!"

Forest Lawn Covina Hills! Very familiar with it, as my grandparents are buried there. My grandfather was a veteran of WWII and could have had him and my grandmother buried at the National Cemetery in Riverside, but, they bought their plots there in Covina along with a lot of their neighbors and friends. Back in the day when going door-to-door selling cemetery plots was the fashion, along with going to town with onions on their belts.

I noticed that too over all his Uploads. People dying at 51 from heart attacks😳. But it was a different time. Everybody🚬 & drank to excess. And the stress of being an entertainer without all the “conveniences” or “luxuries” available to them today. So Sad 😢😞😢

I saw a documentary where a common grave in LA was being filled in the 2000s. It was awful. They open up the cremains boxes and containers and pour the ashes into the ground, all mixed together. Ashes fly everywhere, all over the coroners staff, the grass, everywhere. I thought maybe they buried the urns or boxes but no. Hundreds, thousands, of cremains all mixed together in a horrific plume of dust. I'll never forget it.
