Big Mama Thornton is buried in an indigent grave with those 2 other people. There is a man who is trying to have her buried alone or at least give her her own stone. She died living in a boarding house. She is such an important part of rock and roll history she deserves better.

I love Hollywood Graveyard. I have learned so much about so many people who have passed on. There is nothing morbid about remembering those who have gone before us. It’s shows respect to “never forget”. I’m glad you avoided smashing into that backhoe. 😊

I'm just amazed at how short the life spans were of so many of our entertainers. Quite sad to hear of them passing at around 60 years of age. Especially since I will turn 60 this year.
