Bud abbott and Lou Costello are among the funniest and most entertaining men in history. I have nearly all of their movies, and their entire Television show episodes on DVD. Lou and his wife died relatively young. I think it was possibly expedited by the untimely tragic accidental drowning of Lou Costello junior. May they and the passed members of both their families rest in peace. They are remembered.

Are you a fan of Lou Costello? Very funny man. I wasn’t born at the time of his movies but fortunately when I was younger those older movies either played in the afternoons or later in the evenings. So I feel fortunate to have watched them. I also remember watching the cartoon version of Abbott and Costello....”Hey Abbott....”. Thanks, Steve.

Famous Grave Tours I know about Costello and the Tea Pot Scandal. I recognize the album's you showed but didn't know the composer. I do know about all the Barrymores and some extended family along with their own scandals. I don't think I know about Dunn some of the other actors you mentioned. I know who Fatty Arbuckle is though. I'm sure that I have seen some of their work though.

Thanks for the feedback. I was just curious if people, from different generations than mine, knew or were still interested in any of the people I visit. I know this vlog is old, but… From what I understand, they didn’t create “Who’s On First.” It’s an old vaudeville routine that a lot of performers did at the time. They simply did it so well, and were the first to bring it to widespread national attention on radio…because how many people ever visited Vaudeville theaters in the first place?

According to the Ellis Island official passenger search, some people came from Italy and Spain to the U. S. as Costello.[original research?] It occasionally has been adopted as a pseudonym or stage name by famous people of Italian descent, including Al Costello (né Giacomo Costa), Frank Costello (né Francesco Castiglia), and Lou Costello (né Louis Francis Cristillo). It is also an Italian verb form of costellare: to adorn with stars.
