I also re visit Valerie Harper's gravesite and a viewer shares photos from Mary Tyler Moore's gravesite.
Ted Knight is buried at Forest Lawn in Glendale, California.
Georgia Engel is buried at Cape Charles Cemetery in Cape Charles, Virginia. Photos and videos were shared by Anthony DeMartini (Street Stories KZbin channel)
Valerie Harper is buried at Hollywood Forever Cemtery in Hollywood, California
Mary Tyler Moor is buried at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield, Connecticut

In the late 1970s, I was an LAPD patrol officer in Pacific Palisades, CA. I walked a beat in "The Village" of PP and would often see and chat with Ted Knight. He was equally funny off-screen as he was on-screen. A very kind gentleman. Thanks for remembering him, Steve.

Answering your question, I would like to be buried next to Carol Burnett. I had a horrible childhood and she provided the only consistent laughter to ease my pain for 11 years. Thank you, Carol! I'm so glad we had this time together.

A lot had money far less than you would think. Betty white kept working in part to make sure she had enough. Look at homer pyler. His show was done years ago. Back then, stares got little to nothing in residuals. Carol Burnet did some shows, but her money ended in the 70's. Even big stars like Lucy Jackie Gleason had modest graves

Thanks for the video Steve. Great job. Because of his great head of silver hair I always thought that Ted Knight was MUCH older than he actually was. Such a talented man. He was also a ventriloquist. He was hugely proud of his Polish heritage. May all of those whose graves visit on your videos rest in peace.

Aside from religious reasons, you are correct. Headstones are usually placed a few months after burial so the ground can settle. It prevents them from leaning. It also can take time for the engraving to be completed once the death date is determined.

I lost my wife when we were 49. “2011”. She was so beautiful and full of life, a wonderful mom, and the best wife I could have ever imagined. There is nobody else I would be buried next too. I have worked at a funeral home for 43 years, they generally don’t put the monument on the grave, it is placed on solid ground at the head or foot so it will be stable and does not need to be moved when the husband or wife’s grave is dug. It cost time and money to move monuments when you don’t have to if placed correctly. Enjoy your videos. If you are ever in Charlotte, NC go to Elmwood cemetery, Randolph Scott and his wife is buried there.

Excellent, as usual, Steve! I am again impressed by the beauty of the California cemeteries. That alone is reason enough for people to subscribe to your channel! Your guess on allowing the soil to settle is why most gravestones are not placed until usually six months or so after a person's burial. A much as I like to dazzle folks with my knowledge, I did look this up to be certain. One can always do as my Dad did, though, and have a marker placed years ahead of time. I know this gives some "the creeps" for reasons not that clear to me, knowing that we all have a data with our final resting places eventually. Or we all do unless perhaps the Comte de Saint Germain is still out there somewhere under yet another alias... On what famous person I would like to be laid to rest next to, almost impossible to pick just one, there are so many I admire. Among artists, van Gogh would be a good choice; his tragic life has always fascinated me. Author Ray Bradbury would be another; he was quite gracious to to a near- nobody fan, something I always appreciated. My family helped settle this particular region in the Revolutionary War era, (evidently, the mountainous areas were not of much interest to most colonials in that time), and to start at least two small, quaint cemeteries. I expect my plot at the older one beside my father will be the place, in the end (no pun intended).

Thanks for the up date on Valarie Harper....I too love the Mary Tyler Moore Show ., and the question you ask is I would like to be buried by Rosa Parker... for her bravery and courage of standing up for herself ...and moving from the back of the Bus... the voice of others ...

Thank you for posting this VLOG Mary Tyler Moore was one of my very favorite shows ever and I have a lot of them. I will be buried in Ottawa park cemetery in Clarkston Michigan with my parents and sister. And I wouldn’t want to be buried anywhere else. But if I lived in California, I would choose to be buried next to Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds

Me too. My sister's boyfriend told her to scatter his ashes with the dogs she had buried in her backyard. She raised Yorkshire Terriers for many years. He loved those little dogs.

I agree, Steve, I will likely be cremated, no funeral, and buried next to my mother ( she turned 90 this year and is in remarkable health for her age, thank the Good Lord) and who’s to say she won’t outlive me? But, the plan is a little cremation niche next to her with just a simple plaque with my year of birth, year of death.Well, I would like to be buried next to the great Ty Cobb at Rose Hill cemetery in Royston, Georgia. I feel such an affinity for him. We are both native Georgians. I am a diehard baseball fan, and Cobb is my favorite. I know, he was a true hellion, and some would say, not a very nice person, but he had so many deep issues. He was a a complicated and troubled man all his life. I just really connect with him somehow. This was another great video! Oh, I haven’t visited, but here is a pic of Cobb’s grave: www.google.com/maps/uv?hl=en&pb=!1s0x88f627b13e54212f:0x98c73b0a39edfc2c!3m1!7e115!4slh5.googleusercontent.com/p/AF1QipNnW_Ee17LUhLvCSW5GwWpWvSiYl4Kdq58K7auK%3Dw240-h320-k-no!5sTy+Cobb%27s+grave+-+Google+Search&imagekey=!1e10!2sAF1QipNnW_Ee17LUhLvCSW5GwWpWvSiYl4Kdq58K7auK&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwidzu3-vZzlAhVEvlkKHYXXA_UQoiowAXoECAsQCg#
