I liked Katy Perry's reaction, that was genuinely from a fan. I love it, also, the fact that Shakira is stading there, in the audience, as Sarah Mclachlan and Cindy Lauper are together to perform in Cyndi's acoustic album. And Sarah refuses to listen or to negotiate her understanding around the question and to realize the also revolutionary act that this may involve in some occasions. So idk if, in spite of so many things in common, she would ever see Shakira as a peer in music and in fight, or if she would end up erasing it all by the sake of: "she sells her body, she's allowing herself to be oversexualized by industry, and there's no other way of seeing it" like she already stated in some interviews about artists in general, just like that, in this very closed and unwilling to dialogue fashion.
