Fun fact: not all BBC shows from before or during WW2 ceased airing after. I don't know if it's the only one, but a children's show called Muffin The Mule existed until sometime in the early to late 50s. It was cancelled after the human host passed away. Edit: when I said human host, I meant that there were two. Don't think anything about parasites. There was a human who hosted the show, and I think the titular puppet also may've

A lost media search I've been invested in is the Oobi Shorts, a lost series of shorts from the popular Nick Jr series, Oobi. I'm from the Philippines and I was in my preschool to 2nd grade (late 90s to early 2000s) when the florist ad was still on air. I swear my whole soul that it is not like hitogata and it is so real. As far as I can remember, it usually aired on RPN channel along the WWE shows and other sports related shows. I also remember in ABC and even RPN channel that they aired the Encarnacion Bechaves on foreign movies shown during commercial breaks. The commercial is one of those unnerving to sometimes downright scary Filipino commercials in my childhood. I usually come across these commercials because for better or worse, I had a TV in my own room and i was such a curious little girl. For VHS recordings, I think the technology was not widely adopted by Filipinos that time because some households don't have the luxury and the know how to record via VHS. It's a huge shame that I got so lucky to have my own room with VHS from mid 90s to 2000s, until my parents bought a CD/DVD player but I was so young to possess technical know how.

I have something to add to this list: 'Wazooo! (What a Zoo)'. It was an early 2000s CGI show that aired on TVO Kids and it was basically about these aliens looking at a tv screen about what humans do in their daily lives. Sadly only 1 out of the 25 episodes have been found in a different dub. I really hope the full series gets found one day because I really miss this little show.

Canadian kid here, I remember watching an absolutely DRUGGED out puppet show in around 2009-2012, anywhere between that time on TVO, with strange looking old dolls, I think it was a stage show of some sort... I don’t know what it was, but ever since I first saw it I’ve been completely terrified of it. They had this clown-like or jester kind of look... I don’t know, it was just scary. The Philippines was an odd place when speaking about technology. While we did eventually reach the point of most developed nations in terms of consumer goods, things like VHS tapes might have been still un common for even the wealthy amongst us. The tapes were also very unsuitable for most humid environments, especially a rain soaked nation such as us. Additionally, We actually transitioned from VHS to VCD (Video CD) in the late 90s to early 2000s, so VCRs would have been even less common by the time the last broadcasts of the commercial happened. The cultural environment in My Country always had that semi-held back and modernized feel to everything. Like 90s style synth jingles on live TV shows, overused, to this day

I think that I can personally see why that florist commercial from the Philippines could be disturbing to watch. I feel like a lot of intentionally creepy, scary or shocking pieces of media were being made and distributed around places like the internet, through websites, Internet forums and emails around the time it was supposedly aired on tv. I think the popularity and phenomenon of urban legends around this time may also have contributed to its perceived scariness.

I actually grew up with a lot of LEGO games and I can recall two that might meet the description you gave of the one you played as a kid. -LEGO Loco: A simple building simulator with an emphasis on trains. You had a toybox full of models that you could place into a world and then watch it come to life as it is populated by LEGO people. -LEGO Creator: A simple game where you could build virtually in a 3D environment. Most of the models were based on LEGO City so that might be why you made that connection.

I'm sure a lot of them have set photos, videos and/or documentation of work that is considered Lost Media now but is stashed away without knowledge of the giant community of people who would love to appreciate them and their work and show homage to the significance of what's lost. What about looking into the world of lost Bollywood films. I know over the past 100 years there is so many countless obscure and bizarre films from India. That most of the world outside of the Middle East/South East Asia hasn't really seen or heard of. But I do remeber back in Nov. of 2017 I was visiting my sister in Rochester, NY and I went over to the Eastman Kodak house museum. At the time I was their they had a Bollywood exhibit. Within that exhibit they where showing some Bollywood films and film posters that where recently donated to the museum. The story behind them was that someone had found an old storage room of old Bollywood film reels and posters while demolishing an old theater. Since they handed the Bollywood film stuff over to Kodak, Kodak went ahead and did restoration on the stuff for historical preservation. But really who knows what other unknown Bollywood films/posters are still missing?

Masked Rider BLACK? As in Kamen Rider BLACK? There's a lot of fan translations and raw footage of different Kamen Rider runs online, might be worth looking for raw uploads of a Filipino dub/sub of the show. I've watched some of the other Kamen Riders with fansubs with a friend and occasionally a commercial gets left in. Usually it'll be related but I recall a random McDonalds commercial of all things coming up once. It's a long shot, but there's a lot of different torrents and stuff with different rips and subtitles of Kamen Rider online. I also know that the Japanese TV broadcasts are usually uploaded with english fansubs by people. I'm not positive but Maskman may be a localization of Riderman for the Philipines. Kamen Rider is pretty popular in multiple Asian countries, so there's a real chance that commercial may already be online in some random torrent of an episode.

I know it's technically not lost, but I've been trying to track down a short film called "Showdown of the Godz." I'm a huge David Gasman fan, and it's one of his few live action roles. The film was originally released on its own website then it was exclusively sold on Amazon. Unfortunately the DVD is not longer in print and it's no longer available for streaming. I can't find any copies of it anywhere and it doesn't help that there's a band called The Godz which makes looking for it even more challenging.

Something I'd like more attention on is Crash Bandicoot & Spyro Adventure World - it was a collection of crash and spyro themed shockwave games on Candystand activated via code cards included in bags of snacks sold by Nabisco. While browser games like this are generally tricky to find as far as I can tell, it'd be nice if more people were aware of it in case they still have any code cards kicking around - most of them are completely undocumented.

Hi, it's me again. And this time, I'd like to say that I enjoyed the video and make a small request for something that might be of some interest. There was a VHS of a Channel 4 program called "Adventures in Letterland", based on the "Letterland" ABC learning books and with the exception of one episode, most of the series has been lost and haven't been posted to KZbin. I only bring this up, because A. Scribbles to Screen brought it up in their video about 70 Lost and Banned episodes of British Kids Shows, that I recommend giving a look at some point, and B. because I used to have a VHS copy when I was a small child a long time ago. You don't have to look into it if you don't want to. I'm only making a request/suggestion for lost media worth investigating at some point. Thank you for your time, if you ever read this comment.

I have a few shows that could work for another video like this (I want it to become a series, by the way(. 1: Mission 2110 (thanks Scribbles To Screen for introducing me). Basically, Mission 2110 is a mix between a competition show, and bits of drama. The first episode even has a certain air of mystery around the host. The premise is basically a Terminator one, where robots of the future destroyed human civilization. That's about the only thing they have in common. Throughout the show, I think the last human who seems to have been cybernetically augmented is trying to form a resistance against these robots, and honestly, I can't really explain it as well as I thought, but just watch the first episode: you might feel like me and want more. Some episodes can be found on KZbin, but they're scattered from different seasons if that makes sense, and we have a very slim collection, but the CBBC website did have a math game based on the show. 2: Pillar's Adventures. This show sadly isn't as fortunate as Mission 2110, as the only thing that still remains of it is footage of a bowling game called Thunder & Lightning. Fear not, however. I saw a few episodes on KZbin a few years ago, before they got taken down and can tell you what I remember of both the main cast, and plots of the episodes I remember (I think I saw more, but the episode plots I'll mention are what I actually remember). First: let's go over the characters. Pillar is a young horse colt (not a baby. In human years, I would age her at about 5 to 7), and she has golden-looking fur, with a brown mange if I recall. I can't speak much of her personality, however. The same is true for every character, really. Next up, Hampshire. He's a pig who seems to adept at tug-of-war. Next up, Cleg the fly (or maybe mosquito). He's the one who learns the lesson of one of the episodes I remember. Susa is an owlet who I honestly don't remember existing until I saw footage of that game I mentioned earlier. Not much to say, other than that she has an orange tone in her feathers, and looks like a slimmer version of an owl from Legend Of The Guardians. There are no humans in the show, from what I remember, and it was animated in a Flash style. I suspect if it were apart of a company like WildBrain, it would've been a hit. Also, most episodes were structured like a Rubbadubbers episode, except that every character took part in the imagination journey, they weren't dreaming, and if they were, it was lucid. The first episode is a regular birthday episode, and the plot goes about how you expect, with it being Pillar's birthday, and every farm animal trying (successfully) to keep their surprise hidden. Naturally, Pillar spends the day wandering about her farm, trying to see if any of her friends know about her special day , but they all feign forgetfulness to keep her party a secret. At the end of the day, after feeling defeated in her endeavor, Pillar returns to her stable (I don't remember if she was alone or if someone guided her), and she then discovers that her friends didn't actually forget about her, and the episode ends with them celebrating at her family's stable (she doesn't have siblings, but her parents are shown). The second one I remember, Tugboat Cleg, involves Cleg being fed up with being so small after he tries to capture the attention of Pillar & Hampshire, who are engaged in a game of tug-of-war and thus don't notice him or his request to play with them, so after the game, he & I think maybe his friends imagine themselves working at a big city port, with Cleg as a tugboat, and Pillar as his captain. I don't remember what happened for most of it, but the end result of their voyage makes Cleg realize that he was the perfect size already. Also, the show had a Bluegrass twangy feel to it, with a male and female singer. Finally, Spooks Of Bottle Bay. This show is the most found of the bunch, but apparently most of it is still lost The show was a British puppet drama series with occasional humor (clever at that in my opinion) that aired on CITV from 1993 to maybe 1995 (that was how long it was produced. Maybe it aired for longer) for three seasons, each of which having different elements. The setting, Bottle Bay, is literally that: a town that sits in a bottle, in a mysterious shop, with an unseen shopkeeper, but what's weird is that it's implied more than once that Bottle Bay isn't the only town contained in this bottle. Perhaps it's a pocket dimension. Who knows? Anywho, that's not important. Let's overview this quaint little seaside village. It's actually like every other European beach town, but with a twist: every night there's a full moon, ghosts in sheets called Spooks come out to play. The three who know about them seem to believe them to be evil, but they're really just tricksters. We don't actually know who they were when they were alive, but I'll quickly run over some of the names: The spook family trio of Sally, Baby Spook & Fred (Fred is Sally's boyfriend & I assume Baby Spook's father, while Sally is Baby Spook's mother, though she does go to school (apparently, it's just a school for how to do ghost things like possession, and when to go out on the town), so either she's a teenager, or adult spooks also go to night school. Daphne is a pink spook, and one of the main trio's best friends. I like to think of her as the nerd of Sally's class. There's one spook who appears to take on the role of the class clown, though I don't remember his name. He wears a red bowler hat, and is the only spook who keeps apart of himself visible when turning invisible (that part being his teeth). Captain Patch is the captain of the Galleon, the ship that we see in the bottle in the opening. He and his crew seem to be content with just wandering their ship, as we hardly see them involved with any of the greater spook community's haunts. Also, apparently the Galleon can take on a spectral form. So, I don't want to make this comment any longer than it must be, so I will end by saying this much: The theme song has a sea shanty instrumental going for it (quite a catchy one at that), and some episodes are on KZbin, but quite a few were taken down, like Brenda Drain, in which one of the main characters, Sid Sludge, develops a crush on a new girl visiting town with her family. He even serenades her at the end with a pretty catchy song, IMO, Spooks In Distress, in which Fred & Sally have a test to complete for a reason I don't remember, and Cedric's Revenge, which may be the season 1 finale but don't quote me on it.

For Captain Falcon doing a Falcon Punch in English, I think it would be likely that that scene was dubbed without the rest of the episode. The Falcon Punch is a very famous signature move of Captain Falcon from Smash Bros which may be more popular than the F-Zero games. They would have used that clip in commercials and promos.

Since I saw somebody suggested WWE, I thought I would suggest some more specific WWE themed articles to read. The most interesting (now found) piece of lost wrestling media is probably Bret Hart vs. Tom McGee. To put the story simply for anyone interested, the WWF signed Tom McGee thinking he could be their next top star, the likes of Hulk Hogan. He had several tryout matches including this one against Bret. The match was good. However as it turns out, it was good because Bret Hart made Tom McGee look good, and Tom was actually really bad in the ring. More pieces of currently lost wrestling media that are interesting reads are the Untelevised Hell in a Cell match featuring: John Cena, CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio. Lost alternative finishes to WWE WrestleMania 36, and the Disturbed Cover of "The Game" theme song.

I have a few weird ads and PSAs I've been trying to track down for a long time. From what I remember, one is a radon poisoning PSA with a hotline. It was from the late 90's/early naughts and was very off-putting, only having a music box version of "Hush, Little Baby" repeating as the soundtrack as a woman's voice gives you the information on screen. Another one is a Pediasure commercial I know exists but I can't seem to find. Very strange but so is the nature of Lost Media.

Oh, that was a teaser for a spin off game? I always just thought it was part of the "random" humour LEGO Island has. You're in a lift above ground but it opens to the ocean. LEGO Island did get some sequels though, clearly made by different teams, totally different games.
