My musical brain wasn't ready for their first album and Spencer's vocals were very new to me. By the time P2 was announced I was ready . Still is One of my all time favourite albums of all time.

I had the same trajectory with Dillinger as Misha. I started out thinking "what the actual fuck is this?!" and not liking it at first, but I saw them live and they just instantly clicked with me. They did a TV performance on the VH1: "Golden God Awards" where the crowd visibly HATED them and the band just played their asses off and that really sold me on them. By the end of the show Greg was bleeding profusely from his head and literally doing a fire breathing trick while the whole band destroyed all their instruments. They are so unapologetically abrasive and chaotic. I know it's not for everyone, but I love it.

To the interviewer (sorry I dont know your name) You are top notch! Every interview I see with you, you can always tell that you're really listening to the person your speaking to in the way you manage to ask interesting questions based on the latest statement/answer of the subject. World class! :)

I think everyone has had the same feeling with Dillinger at some point! One of us is the killer is amazing in how chaotic it is, yet somehow structured and refined. The way they wrapped up the final song on there final album proves the point of how genius they actually are, it legit made me feel sad that they were coming to an end. Agree with everything Misha said.

Quoting Misha "there was a time I thought if I practiced guitar enough I would *become* John Petrucci" , who else had a similar phase lol?

Misha and Tosin both have praised Dillinger. Coincidence? 🧐

Great interview ! But revolver needs to pony up and buy a better 🎙mic. The guests have better sound than the interviewer 😆

Misha isn’t the best comparison as he has his own studio setup though

Hey dude, issue is actually mic placement - I’ve got it too far away from me. Will rectify on the next one.

It’s interesting to see how much i have in common with Misha on a musical level. Around 20:00 he speaks about drum & bass and how knowing how the sausage is made kinda ruins the fun of it. I spent about a decade making almost only DnB and it definitely ruined it for me for the last few years. It’s ironic how discovering now how metal is made and making more of it than before is still fun for me
