Just finished this game. It's fantastic. Every time you think you're getting close to the end, you discover an entirely new area. Seemingly always more content to enjoy. Awesome gameplay, great story, and funny humor. 10/10. Great metroidvania.

Yeah, when I first beat it I saw I only had like 57% completion. Immediately went back and found entire areas, story points, and boss fights. It's fantastic. Plus, the art is absolutely gorgeous.

yea but I know but NL is smart and he can do better and he is missing ALOT of shit that will be EXTREMELY vital later, he has no feel for the game, which makes me sad because I like NL. Jesse is just oblivious most of the time so I kinda expect him not being able to get a true insight into the world and the game or dig deeper to find out the game. I Kinda Think NL was smart enough to feel the game's rhythm, Guess he's played too much Isaac to get into the mentality of any other game with. ( at least not good or effectively)

As a person that is nearing completion of this game after about 50 hours (yes, it's that beefy of a game), I implore you to keep playing. Maybe not to 100%, as that can become a chore when you get to the very tail end of it all, but it is still a great game no matter how you play it. It has an amazing atmosphere, characters that are very likeable (including the ones that get very few lines), and an amazing variety of environments. It can get hard at times, but I think that adds to this game's charm :) Easily my favorite game of 2017 so far ^^

I agree. This game should be right up Jesse's allee. It's tough, but the world is beautiful and after 40 hours of play, having learned about the world and got to know the characters: It's pretty amazing, especially for just 15 bucks. Looking back it's easily worth double the price. Now, if you'll excuse me. This video has made me want to play more. There are still new places to see and things to do!

It's also LONG. About 40-60 hours if you want to 100% and get all 2.5 endings. Though it would work for something to stream though like how Dodger did this game. But yah no LP as Jesse has so many huge games he has on the backburner that he needs to finish.

Story Missions - Can take any form, and their outcome might have several effects. These missions are rather rare, and usually have no payment with them. They also must be completed to finish the game. Faction Missions - The most dangerous, they are given to you by warlords and other leaders within factions. The reward normally consists of diamonds and reputation. These missions have to be completed to finish the story. Underground Missions - Given to you by an Underground faction that protects civilians, your reward is medicine for malaria. These missions are needed to be completed, as your malaria medicine will eventually run out. Buddy Side-Missions - These are suggested by your best buddy when you take on a faction mission. The reward is usually reputation, Buddy history and a Safe House upgrade (fuel, health and ammo piles etc.). Personal Buddy Missions - Your buddies may ask for help with personal missions; visit either of the bars to accept them. The reward is reputation and Buddy history. These missions are totally optional. Weapon Shop Missions - Given to you by vendors at Weapon Shops, these require you to take out their competitor's weapon convoy, thus also named 'convoy missions'. This unlocks new weapons to buy. These missions are totally optional. Assassinations - Given to you by hacking into cell towers, these missions require you to eliminate a certain target, with diamonds as reward. These missions are totally optional. I forgot to tell you something else, there are more people waiting to be your buddy and you can find him or her after the guy in charge save's your life, then he will instruct you want you need to do. after you're free to go, find every single buddy you can find in a stronghold. If you don't want to lose your buddy on a Faction/Buddy side mission. then don't do it. I recommend you do all the side missions expect buddy side missions before you do the main missions. If you are wondering if their is loot, in which case it will be diamonds. there are no sharks or under water predators in far cry 2 but there is wildlife and will not attack you but you can attack it. Choose Marty Alencar, i chose him last yime i played the game because he was a soldier but then he retired.
