And just be "taking elements of SUPERHOT" Like making the freeze an activatible ability who's time can be upgraded(The time it lasts by ingame time, or how much it slows the game. anything really.) Or adding a lot of game other than the combat system. As long as they add enough new or different stuff most people won't just call it copying SUPERHOT.

Interesting shooter, but I feel they hindered the real time replay with it constantly saying SUPER HOT, over and over. During key points, sure, but not every RT replay for the full duration of it. Makes you not want to watch your own replay, no matter how epic it might've been.

+Edward Kenway I remember playing the concept version that they released for free, but I don't remember how long ago that was. It was pretty much the same thing but with only the levels, there wasn't anything about two people hacking a game, and then just ending abruptly after a short while. I'm glad they decided to expand this concept into a larger game, though.

Jesse, if it helps, the original demo had the theme of you being a mercenary/assassin. The levels were much harder at the start and they mentioned in the last level after you kill the target that you were disposable hence you being in the game. Then you had to commit suicide.

Wester Burzun I'd have said its turn-based because the world only moves when you do; it takes it's turn as you take yours. There a few Roguelights (which are considered turn-based) that do the same thing.

Strappleberry Nifkin That's the thing though, the world is still in motion when you are not doing "speedy" actions and turn based is if where you do something then they do something (normally). in that sense its more of a real time ("strategy")? fps since the game moves when you move. it's a game which is pretty hard to assign a genre too like, so who knows.

So Superhot.exe is a program that allows your mind to materialize in the real world with the added bonus of hastening your the speed your mind processes to The Matrix level. The red dude are personals dispatched by the organization behind Superhot to stop you from doing any further harm, and the guy talking to you is the admin. That's my theory so far for this video. I'm not a theorist so I might be very wrong.

Tip to everyone, if you jump and hold the button, it slows time as you jump. During this you can move from side to side in mid air. You move slightly faster than you would normally, but as soon as you touch ground remember to take your finger off the jump button because it will count the held button as movement and not slow time. This helped me get the 20 kills endless challenge which I confess I never would have obtained otherwise without spending a day practising.

+blazegunshark Transfering is another way to get a ton of kills though, my favourite technique is to throw a weapon towards an enemy, like a sword or a shotgun, then transfer into said enemy and snatch the weapon right out of the air.

Darca1n Hotswitch once and you have to kill someone in order to hotswitch again. With the jumping trick, you can keep the transfer in reserve until you really need it. Or if you don't have hotswitch yet. I'm doing the katana challenge at the moment, and until I get to the part of the game when you get hotswitch I can't use it. And its not really viable tranfering into someone else during a katana challenge, because you can only use katana, and you've just transferred out of the body that has the only one.
