He also caught Mike Trout's very first career home run, and all he asked for in return was the chance to return it to him in person. FYI, Hample gave the ball to A-Rod two weeks later after the Yankees offered to donate $150,000 to a kids baseball charity that they knew Hample had long been a supporter of. This is after auction houses speculated that the ball could sell for as much as $500,000. The guy might have come across as a douche in the early goings, but he did something right in the end.

He is only an agent but a baseball hit by the player which symbolizes an achievement in his part and will go down the history ? It means mich more to the baseballer than a fan who collects just any other baseballs of any other players. Anyways i dont really care but i dont like the car analogy. It’s shallowww
@Blitzkit3 жыл бұрын
The baseball isn't "sold" like how the car was. It's caught, for free (unless you think of the ticket you bought to get there) Good idea but a really bad analogy there. Try again.
@frasercochran41593 жыл бұрын
@@Blitzkit Lol, but that’s not it at all. He shouldn’t get to keep it because it is in no way his, he didn’t buy it, he didn’t stand there and catch it, he hit it, that’s his job, to hit the baseball and run as far as he can. It's not his place to say “I want that mat, because I have done a home run on it for my 50th time.
