This film is really underrated. I thought it was great. Never a dull moment. They made the obsessive fan scary but also quite moving. The movie also features scenes shot at SRK's real house, and references to real films of his, so it's really unique for him to play a character so close to him in real life, and to play the fan. His acting is very impressive in this movie! The guy who did the VFX on Benjamin Button worked on this movie to make the fan different from SRK (it was lots of make up but also CGI to make him look more frail).

The film is heavily weighed down by the urge to cash in on Shah Rukh. The entire sequence set outside India is heavily flawed and doesn't gel with the scope of the film. It was probably SRK's idea to go big and take it international as a small budget film wouldn't justify his presence. He is terrific in the film but is also the greatest weakness. Zero had similar pointless things making it a stretch - interval cameos by actresses a case in point. Totally unnecessary.

I haven't added 'Baazigar' to the list as the movie was about a single guy projecting 2 different identities (by using props like glasses, coloured contact lenses) ... Done with the sole aim of trapping & befooling his enemy ! Hence it can't be considered a double role movie as such.

This movie is definitely worth a watch, after you saw how big a star he is on the other videos... That gives you context on his stardom and makes this film an engaging watch... It's also a symbolism, where in the end he says, "without Gaurav, Aryan is nothing"... He's referring to the fact that without having played characters so well, the stardom that he enjoys today is worth nothing... So he needs to keep playing challenging roles in order to keep the stardom intact...
