FAN Virtual Colloquiums on Archival Matters 2024 / April

We are delighted to extend our warmest invitation to the Forum of National Archivists (FAN) Quarterly Virtual Colloquium on Archival Matters for the year 2024. This series of virtual gatherings aims to foster insightful discussions and collaborative efforts in addressing the contemporary challenges faced by national archives globally.
The first session took place on Tuesday 16 April 2024 and was dedicated to exploring the impact of politics and governance on National Archives. In this session, we delved into the intricate ways in which shifting political goals and policies influence the perception, value, and utilization of national archival holdings, as well as the role of national archival institutions.
