Just want to say thank you, Maurice pack is a game changer and ffb feels amazing, I had no idea fanalab could swap profiles automatically when you get into different cars, I almost skipped the video as I thought it was just a vid on how to update the wheelbase and I can do that so maybe you should do a video just on Maurice’s ffb pack as I bet there are many out there that have no idea fanalab can do this, do you know of any more assetto corsa car profiles there aren’t that many in the pack.

No problem! Glad it can help you, the profiles really do make some cars feel AMAZING! The problem with Assetto Corsa cars is most of them are mods and people can't really spend time making profiles for mod cars as they get updated physics etc. it just wouldn't be worth it, maybe going on the Fanatec forums you might find someone that has made some for some AC cars.

Hiya, Using these profiles in Ams2, are there recommemded in game ffb settings ? I presume fanatec/ fanalab ffb setting are sepperate to the in games ffb settings? Thanks.

More than likely need to check the version of your Fanalab or make sure you copy the .xml files into the %appdata% folder

I have the same, and acc does not switch automaticly to the correct car. I have the latest driver 455, and the latest fanalab. Copied the xml files etc... Even reinstalled fanalab en do it all over again...no succes.

Am I correct in the assumption that the current 'recommended' settings in Fanatec fetch down Maurice's profiles anyway since the guidance takes you to Maurice's in-game settings?

If you set it up correctly Fanalab will auto change profile for you for different cars

mmmmhhh i always use same settings every game every car . never saw a need to change wheel settings

You can do this, but if you switch from GT cars to Prototypes, because of the different speeds, I feel like dampers & etc. will need to change to extract the max force out of your wheelbase without it clipping

900° , 100% peak , 0 friction, 0 damper ,100% effekt ... and let the game handle the rest . i dont know when i switch a car in iracing , AC rf2 it feels different on its own cause its annother diff. car . And if you have problems with clipping reduce strengh ingame that will handle it

McLaren GT3 rim does not have LED's that's why :)

If you have laptop take the usb cable from the wheel and connect to a laptop, So it goes from the wheel to the laptop. This is what I had to do

Hello. I've bought a few fanatec items all used and from different people, lol. Can I use this video to get everything up to date for the firmware and drivers. I'm not new to software and drivers but one guy I bought the peddles from v3s did mention something about updating them in a certain order or I would brick my gear so I'm a little concerned. Is this still a issue? I have a csl dd, v3 pedals,and the shifter and a xbox wheel wrc I believe it is. Just dont want to brick something and haven't even got to use it yet. I am on pc of course. Any advice will be great, thanks.

When you update your gear just make sure the USB cable doesnt get moved and your power doesn't go out and you can update all the firmware from the Fanatec Control Panel.

@Sloshy ok thank you. I managed to get it all up to date yesterday. I ran some ac and acc last night and had a blast. Sim racing will definitely put a smile on your face, lol. I'm very glad I pulled the trigger.

Which wheel? The Formula Wheel? Yes you should be able to change the LED colours

Would this help my issue , I have a clubsport wheel base v2.5 and a mclaren v2 wheel and it just randomly disconnects in the middle of the race, im just wondering if I need a new wheel base or if it’s a software issue

It could help, Fanalab has been known to fix a lot of issues through firmware but it's no guarantee, I would definitely still try it to see if it fixes it
