The ending of The Witch gave me *_such_* tonal whiplash. When Black Phillip lays his tiny little hoof over her shoulder, that was one of the most *_adorable_* things I've ever seen in an otherwise relentlessly grim movie. 🥰

I enjoyed this movie so much!!! It was so terrible that it was HILARIOUS!!! My brother and I just played Mystery Science Theatre the whole time and cried laughing the whole time. Moonfall is literally the most enjoyable movie I've seen in years. thank you Roland!

28:00 The Moon is lighter than the Earth. Even if by some magic technology, the Moon didn't break apart and was placed directly above you, you would still only experience slightly less gravity (like 90% current gravity), not float upwards. I don't know where this trope came from.

In slightly more realistic scenarios, the Moon would breakdown to form a ring/cloud around the Earth, and have almost no affect on gravity.

@@cea6770 Part of the plot does revolve around the Moon being much more dense than it should be. If it were just rock, your statement would be true, but since there's an actual STAR inside of it… Space magic goes woo~

The gravity (up to non-relativistic terms) is determined only by total mass, not the density. We already know the mass from the Moon's orbit. It's supposed higher localized density is irrelevant.

They usually cover movies that have recently hit VOD, which is why it's always in the last few months. When that slows during the summer (for home release, not theatrical) is when they usually go back and do older stuff.
