I felt like that was the part of the story that was underdeveloped. I know Diablo isn't historically focused on narrative, but when you dangle some cool demon/angel romance in front of me, then kind of just don't talk about it much, I'm going to be sad.

@@taiidaniblues7792 Diablo 3 was my entry point to this series, so I don't know much either. That being said, it does indeed feel like the main story is a bit undercooked as it were. The inevitable expansions will add more to the story no doubt. What remains to be seen though.

@@taiidaniblues7792 The story of Inarius and Lilith is already told. They ran away from Hell/Heaven and, combining their blood, gave birth to the Nephalem in Sanctuary ( Rathma was the first ). Inarius realised they were going to become stronger than both Angels and Demons, so he used the Worldstone to weaken them. Tyrael destroyed it in Diablo 2, so since them select few humans ( D3 and D4 protagonists ) have become very strong. Inarius was tortured in Hell for ages by Mephisto, then mysteriously escaped ( probably a 300 IQ master plan by Mephisto to make D4's ending happen ). That's basically it.

@@jota7000 depends on if your cluster is unlocked or not. If another cluster is unlocked by your skills, you have to prune from the bottom (highest tier) cluster, not just the next one down. Not difficult, but moderately annoying, until you have redundant skill points :p

@@arunavachatterjee2433 I didn't know that. To be honest my comparison had more to do with their inhuman features than anything that could be directly attributed to a model. Kerrigans hair is shaped in a similar manner to Lilith horns, and Liliths wings differ from Kerrigans (bone wings?) Only in that Lilith has some webbing between the bones and an extra set of bones outside the webbing.

What’s the point of killing monsters to get better and rarer loot to survive harder difficulties for a chance at the best loot, if you can just buy it outright easily from someone else - in a way that Blizzard sees a cut of the transaction? 1:43 Well it doesn't help that the English dub called her Laylaymon... She was Lilitmon in the English localization of all the games though, unlike Bastemon/Persiamon (who the dub called Beastmon) or SlashAngemon//GuardiAngemon (weird that Bandai's English localization made it _more_ religious) (who the dub called SLUSHangemon because somehow they got the wrong anglicization of surrashu in spite of it LITERALLY BEING MADE OF SWORDS and because no one at Saban thought to check in with Bandai USA). Also Daemon was Creepymon sometimes for some reason even though the English dub of Adventure 02 (which is a spinoff sequel, not a second season) had his name as Daemon.

I used to like adventuring from town to town and doing the dungeons in between but Then i realized that most of the aspects that drop dont benefit my class or build, none of of the good legendaries drop until you hit world tier 3 and you realize you cant get your mount until act 4 of the campain. So it kinda forces you to play the campain So when most youtubers say "beat the campain first" they said it for a good reason

This video reminds me, Diablo 2 was the preview of the internet today. Full of scammers, random people yelling insults at you (calling you nub), and bullying you online (pk'ing your character repeatedly). And you have to stay in the game if you died more than once because you need to recover your original corpse or lose all of your items... good times. Ps. And that is the real reason why you want good gear, so you kill them and not the other way around. Pvp central to how you built your characters.

@miljacmilic3611 it can happen if you are being corpse camped. It's super easy because you are usually trying to get your corpse as a naked character. if you don't don't ever recover your first corpse, and you leave game, it only saves the last corpse of the naked character attempts.

I still don't understand if Lilith was supposed to be good or evil in this story. Her entire motive was to save Sanctuary from the Prime Evils and give humanity freedom, albeit through kinda messy means. Also, Donan was a hot daddy.

So when we judge the powers they all get no points for methods, but lilith is the only one who gets points for her goals. The angels and demons just want the battle to continue forever.

But...The microtransactions are all cosmetic. And poorly done at that. The armor in game looks better than 90% of what is in the store. And the 10% that looks great isn't worth 20$. So...Just don't buy skins?

I honestly would have loved for humanity to accept lillith as the saviour and then we could have fought against heaven and hell with her on our side. I thin the decision to kill her off was horrible, I rly wanted to quit the game when I couldn't join her. In my opinion she hasn't done anything wrong. I mean the average diablo player also commits genocide

This Diablo has one of the more engaging stories of the series. My only real complaint is that they force me to be online and there is no way to make other players invisible. I don't want it to feel like an MMO. I don't want to see other players. It's also a little frustrating they got rid of the npc party/mercenary system, presumably because they are leaning into the multi-player component.

Turn off cross platform play. Then you only see players on your platform who have it switched off too. Made my Xbox experience almost solo. Just enough players to do world bosses together.

if you disable cross network play you will see about 1 other player every 12 hours of game play. this is not an exaggeration. but i agree i wish they had offline play.
