The reason the Slayer doesn't kill the last two hell priests in the Citadel is because he hasn't killed their guardians yet. He killed Deag Nilox's guardian off-screen, before the game started, took the guardian coin and then Nilox's soul wasn't protected anymore. He can't kill the priests unless he gets the guardian coins. As Nilox says, before realizing the Slayer killed his guardian: "My soul remains guarded... you can't-" and then freaks out when he sees the coin. We can also see this when the coin comes out of the Gladiator's body after killing him.

You know, I just realized how utterly badass Doomguy really is. Since you need those tokens/kill coins to actually murder the Hell Priests and he didn't have the ones for the other two when he crashed their meeting, they were at that moment invincible and knew it. And yet, he *still* scared them off. He actually terrified creatures who were fully aware of their own invulnerability just by pumping his shotgun.

A lot of the sins can be explained by the lore. For example: VEGA is of maykr origin, The Fortress of DOOM is also of Maykr origin, thus concluding that even if it took an entire mars base to run him, he could easily be activated in The Fortress of DOOM. It's like lighting a fire, it might take a lot of work from a cave man, but it can be easily made with the press of a button in the modern age.

Yeah, he makes it look painful, but to be fair, a game journalist wouldn't even make a single jump. His point still stands though: Platforming in First Person just doesn't work as well as people think it should. It worked semi-janky in Dying Light, but other than that, it was more often than not a failure. Besides, designing your levels with extensive platforming in mind and subsequently punishing the player for failing said platforming flies in the face of a franchise that always rewarded secret hunting.

Vega only needed the huge cooling system to run the entire Mars facility, which expanded miles upon miles of mars's surface. The Slayer is only utilizing him for the AI component, not to run a huge facility to produce argent

Just look at the platforming part. He sins it while he plays a shot of himself fucking up massively. There is also the marauder sin, because apparently having a miniboss that makes you have to switch up playstyles is bad? But then if you watch someone like Markiplier, who isn't known to be a god at video games by any means, he just blows through the platforming and the marauders. Most of what this guy is saying is just complaining/not reading the lore at all and sinning it.

I think those "medallions" were given to their respective "Champions" and maybe they could only be killed once the medallions were recovered - maybe they could be used to revive them or basically make them invulnerable. It might even be possible that the Slayer was originally Deag Nilok's champion - back during the Night Sentinel Days - considering he had the medallion at the get-go of the game.

Ya kinda are to understand literally any of this game. Old doomgames only gave a short bit of text (sometimes not even in the game) but you could easily figure out what was going on via gameplay and map setup in doom eternal without the cutscenes alot of the game wouldnt make any sense at all. It became immediately apparent to Samuel that Doomguy reacted very negatively to his instructions and presence, and whenever Sam ordered Doomguy to carefully preserve something, he would destroy it. So, when he needed VEGA preserved, he simply told Doomguy to destroy him, knowing he would preserve VEGA out of pure spite even in the event Doomguy didn't like VEGA

there is the fact that in doom 2016 doomguy looks at the dead guy in the elevator, gets angry and crunches his knuckles then punches the little elavator controls. He saw the guy as a innocent collateral victim of someone else's actions and saw the same thing with vega. Doom guy was bound to store up vega.

Samur/Aye Ohoho someone just had the closest thing to a burn this side of hell. Dude, it’s almost like the ol’ Cuphead complaints, when that one journalist gave it a bad review because he was dogshit at it. He also said; at the beginning that even HE hated this sins thing a bit, since he probably likes the game. We discuss his points seriously, and rip flaws in the argumentation because thinking everything over and discussing it is interesting. Now go home to mommy and get your binky, because frankly, if this is the best argumentation you can give, you need to re-evaluate moving up from diapers to trainers.

World War Two was a geopolitical conflict born from the unsettled and broadly destabilizing end result of World War One. 14:00 You see this is the only major point I heavily disagree with; they are difficult enemies to fight; but AOE damage like grenades and air burst rockets still do damage; if the shield is up, bust his ass from behind with a grenade. He is meant to be your hard counter, and one of the only ones in existence at that. Yes, the game encourages fast and loose gameplay; but it’s also very based in strategic fighting. Small mobs are bullet dispensers, Big mobs focus drawers, and Marauders, doom hunters, and revenants are priority targets. Back to the Marauder, you need to also know how to kite him, since he will close the distance on his own, and the dog spawn is a punish move. Use the ballista, super shotgun flick combo to maximize damage and he’ll die faster once you hit his window. Ballista stagers him; whereby you then hit him with a super shotgun at the exact same range. So long as he is close to you, damage will be done. Wait for your next opportunity and do it again. Tbh it’s like fighting the Mancubus, but instead of hitting the weak points to cut his mid range damage output, it’s knowing how best to take him apart that matters. Also just to be a bit of a nit picker; space as a vacuum is perfectly reasonable to say “But how the hell is he alive?” However, riddle me this, do his arms appear to have a skin tight layer of fabric above the forearms? Do they lead into his armor? Yes; then it is reasonable to infer that his armor due to its design, is able to lock out the vacuum of space at some point in the design. My assumption is that it is one of two things, the suit at the arm level, or his helmet lock; which you notice when he puts on has to latch into place. Assuming that this helps prevent air from leaking out of the suit and his suits other possible systems; it is then reasonable to infer that he has his own air filtration system mixed with a air lock system to prevent suffocation within the vacuum. Also, unrelated, but I think he was tainted in Hell and in the story before he winds up on Sentinel Prime, which shows why He is constantly enraged, but at the same time his will and determination are the only things physically keeping him alive at this point. After Samur Makyr changes him with the machine eliminating his rage, but giving his will power and determination a means of manifestation, he then set about doing everything brutally efficient with an aggressive simple method; hence his activity in Doom 2016.

the gameplay sucks i hate it full stop, as said in this video it's GLARING in the first 5 minutes you aren't going to have fun playing the game because you're forced through sort of an eternal... reload... by way of the stupid melee Cuddle. "the game needs instant kill weaponry at the start" there is, its called the fucking chainsaw. if you plan your route correctly and manage your ammo properly it is entirely possible to use the chainsaw as a one hit kill weapon on dangerous heavies rather than a tool for obtaining ammo. also if you're still constantly chainsawing fodder demons late-game, you're bad and you should feel bad, because you don't seem to understand that you have about 7 other weapons that you can be using besides the one that is in your hand right now.

While with the third one, the Khan Maykr interfered and hide the last priest the best she could, only the Seraphim (Samuel Hayden) would be able to track his location.

The resource managment became less of an issue not because you had more weapons, but because you where used to using chainsaw. The devs made ammo scarce in the beginning to teach you how vital the chainsaw is and nail it into your brain that you need to be utilizing it. In fact when you get late in the game there is still 2 for each ammo type excluding the rocket launcher, so ammo is still scarce considering if you switch from one to the other you might be using the same ammo type. You just got used to it.
