This was a tiny homage and practice in filmmaking but a larger project would be the wrong way to go. We can only hope that a future Silent Hill movie will be made for the right reason, to be true to fans.

@salazar556 silent hill hasn't been good since debatably 4 the room, so youre kidding yourself if you think i want a new game. This is nothing different. Konami doesn't understand their own franchises, the only reason the snake eater remake looks good at all is because it's literally almost shot for shot like the original and they didn't even re record the dialogue. Maybe if they did the same to silent hill 2 then I would think different. But silent hill 2 was lightning in a bottle and will never be recaptured unless they took every scene and kept them shot for shot and didn't redo the voice acting and only updated gameplay and graphics but nope, we couldn't get something that simple. This shit is gonna suck hard

The girl has nailed Angela's character and personality. I applauded her for her amazing acting. James, though, needs to work on his acting and on his understanding of James. I mean, acting is all about skills and I hate to say it but the actress who played Angela felt natural! She wasn't just acting but she actually understand her which makes her movements more natural IMO.

Just around 02:53 Angela excuses herself because she glances to James and perceives that he is not paying attention to her anymore. She see him staring at the floor as if he is lost on his own thoughts and then she excuses herself as if he is troubled/annoyed by what she is saying. I know it was not the purppose of this video, it's just a small detail that I believe most people dont get. It was really good though, the camera movements was really nice. kind of nostalgic

Interesting interpretation of the original scene! You’re right, James doesn’t look down like that in this video. When we looked at the original we interpreted that James looked down like that because he’s trying to think of something helpful to say. Angela glances and interprets this as James being burdened by listening to her. At 2:53 in this video we went by that interpretation. Although you are still right that James doesn’t look down like that before she glances at him. Instead he looks at her while doing the thing where he’s trying to think of something helpful to say. She then interprets his silent stare as some sort of judgement and apologizes. Even though it’s a small detail it’s funny that fans can interpret them so differently! Thanks for pointing out it out with your interpretation!

@Holeful wow! never thought of it by your perspective. I believe James is in a kind of state of shock because he murdered Mary (only one week ago if I remember correctly?) That's why their dialogue is kind of "incoherent". "seems off". Actually I remember hear complains about the dub and this scene back in the day but I interpreted like this after re-playing the game some years later with more maturity. Just who went through a trauma knows how everything seems distant and you cant keep atention in anything for much long. but that is MY interpretation and based on my experiences. This is why I love this game so much. Every interpretation have a little bit of us in it. But your interpretation is really nice and kept me thinking. I really love listen/read other interpretation about this game. It always opens doors to new interpretations. I loved the video and the first scene with Angela crouching I could swear this was the cutscene itself. Really nice job.
