It is fantastic to see young girls being so excited & having so much interest & good fun. Clark has done something for women’s basketball & womens sports it general.
@timmellin281510 ай бұрын
This is so much better than the old, worn out plugging along NBA (No Brains Allowed) style of play. I got interested in Girls' basketball about 10 yrs. ago, by accident, when I saw the Mark Keppel HS team in Calif, a team of short Asian girls mostly, beat larger teams mostly due to aggressive swarming defense. Very exciting style of play. You go, girls ! Playoffs for HS start tomorrow night, and my only regret is I can't see both my favorite teams (Keppel and South Pasadena) play because both games are scheduled at the same time, on the same night. I too am getting involved....I like to write gym wall slogans based on the girls' names, and I have a mix of 1960s songs that would go well as pre-game shoot around music for girls' games. Join the fun.....skip the boys' / mens' game, and watch the more artistic yet a little easier to follow womens' / girls' game.

There have been many great women players over the years, but Caitlin has taken it to a new level. I thought Paige Bueckers would have been the one to do it, but injuries have pretty much sidelined her college career. Here's hoping Caitlin has a long and storied career after college hoops.

Caitlyn second best shooter to only Steph Curry… Maybe third two Damian Lillard… But she is otherworldly… Nevertheless, women’s basketball is way bigger than her and unfortunately, for Iowa, no one will remember them when she leaves, nor will they get a championship while she is there because you can’t do it with just one person!

As a Hawkeye fan, Iowa grad, and white person, I am ashamed of comments like this being made by CC fans: Where are you NOT seeing white people?! We are everywhere, featured forefront (and behind the scenes) on EVERYTHING, even as awesomely as diversity is becoming more and more mainstream. And I'm here for that! What I love about women's basketball is all the different women of different races, cultures, backgrounds and personalities - but most of all it's that TALENT that's amazing, all of them. Yes, including CC as one of the best... ... And then people like you tie CC to racists comments like this! If you care about CC so much, you might want to not get her branded into racists tropes/sound bite like this.
