Not making any excuses here, it was simply the crew that was working the game with the Bally Sports Southwest network, they're designed to be "homers" for the Dallas Wings, there weren't any Indiana Fever announcers in a studio back in Indianapolis doing the game as the big league sports teams were doing during the 2020-2021 period virus lockdowns.

I think the women in the W don't know the kind of talent that's about to be unleashed on it. Caitlin shoots effortlessly from distance and they won't be able to double team here... she'll just feed Boston all night long. Her passing is just as good, if not better, than her shooting. All she needs to do is work on the D and she'll be the complete package.

I don't know how you found ex-players to interview. They noticed what everyone else that watches or has watched Caitlin knows. She needs to work on her defense. CC knows that and I am sure it will improve with time. The best is yet to come. Let her get a season under belt. Caitlin said in an interview that she would have to get stronger in the weight room. That is exactly how she developed those logo 3's. In the post-game, her coach said they had three players that weren't on the floor last night. When they returned, other teams wouldn't be able to focus so much on Caitlin. Looking forward to more interviews.
