I'm surprised nobody pointed out David's meal during the cannibal reveal scene. Everyone else is eating scraps of vegetables and meat in watered down broth out of tiny bowls, whereas he's got a whole plate full of meat and gravy. Where everyone else is clearly starving and miserable, he's eating like a king and happily feeding them their friends and families. Even before he shows his full depravity, with that one shot David's hypocrisy and cruelty is shown.

The entire episode gave me an itchy, feeling all over my body. It made me think I needed to look for context clues about these people, and whether or not, they were cannibals. This episode taught me what cannibalism is, how many ACTUAL "Davids" or cannibals there are and WERE in REAL LIFE and that once you run into a religious cult you know that you have to have an escape plan READY.
