Pink Floyd has always been critical of governments, people in power, war, etc. Their music is an anti system/pro little guy mentality in general to some degree. Trump may be evil and maybe he's a fool, Trump might not be evil and isn't a fool. This is the part that you can't say with 100% uncertainty. What we can say with absolute certainty is he doesn't have the political people skills to present things in a way that doesn't piss a lot of people off. Expecting the politically incorrect non politician to magically become a politically correct politician is a form of insanity in itself. I fully expected Trump to be your typical Celebrity Apprentice Trump in the White House and in your face with no filter, but in itself that doesn't define him as a bad person or evil. Only time can be the true judge of Trump and in 100 years when people look back it could be good or bad. The media keeps saying the Trump presidency is in turmoil due to the turnover rate in high profile positions within his administration. They say no other politician did this. Well, that's because they were in bed with the political elites and if someone couldn't do their job they simply looked the other way. With Trump if you are not meeting the performance expectation for your job the he requires which is set at a very high bar and difficult for most to meet then you get the ax and you're gone. This is how good CEO's operate you either meet a certain standard or you are gone and replaced to better the organization. With Obama, Bush, etc performance didn't matter because I got my buddy politician a job and I'll let them get away with whatever by looking the other way.
