Yeah. Ive just stared releasing music in july. I so far have 25 songs out, but not a single have over 1k streams. 90% of my songs sit below 100 streams. Spotify is literally the only place i get streamed on too. So I doubt I’ll be making a single penny from literally any of my music now. Anthony, you're missing out on the band "MUCC" (5th-most listened Band on the 3rd Wrapped you reviewed in this video here) - they're a japanese band from the same age cohort as Dir en grey and The Gazette, and they're easily leading the pack together with Dir en grey as far as quality and consistency goes. I'll give you three reasons why they're imo one of the best japanese bands (and rock bands period, for that matter): - great variety: They can go heavy and dark (though not nearly as much as Dir en grey), but they can also go colourful and poppy, and they have the songwriting chops to actually make the great variety work and flow well in the songs! - They write great melodies! - no annoying typical japanese lead singer: Their singer has a very unique voice, not the somewhat weepy baritone that seems to be the stock of the japanese scene 😂 Top 3 songs to check out: - Ryuusei (nice high bass melody in the intro btw ;) - Libra (great chorus) - Yueni matenrou Do not miss out on this classic rock band!!
