I am on paternity leave and every time a feed a bottle, or rock her to sleep I check to see if you have posted another video! Love watching your videos! Every year me and my family go to cherry grove and try to catch flounder while on vacation. We will be using your tips and tricks and even some of the same lures this year. @@DeadCalmOutdoors do you mostly reel/cast with or against the current? Or does it matter? Also, do you use a leader or tie your braid straight to the lure?

@loganallen5404 it’s best to retrieve your lure with the current. It’s a more natural presentation. I use a leader. Usually mono 15 lb.

Looks like you're settling in nicely to the new kayak. I have a peddle kayak as well and really enjoy how manageable it is to fish and make adjustment as needed. I usually avoid the boat traffic on the weekends but one of these days I hope to see you on MI.

We were in port st joe this may and my daughter would only use her favorite crank bait and she caught just as many trout as I did. I was using a zman paddle tail in 5 ft of water

There are not many places to shore fish. Of course the ocean. But if you go to Huntington state park walk up to the jetties. The fishing is good there.
