If a woman has it in her head that you have a flaw, nothing resembling logic will interfere with that. Some women(and men) need to get over their fragile little egos and learn to let things slide. She is not the center of his universe. She is a partner. You share a life. You don't share an oxygen tank. People who think they need each other need to revaluate. You DON'T need each other. You are only together because you share a love. That's it. There is no survival element in this. Both of you need to retain the option to leave if that love dies. Don't become dependent on each others thoughts and time. Your relationship will go down in flames. Been with a woman for 20 years happily married because we respect each others freedom. I don't need to know what she is doing all the time and vice versa. Because the moments we do choose to spend together and grow is that much more special when new things happen to the both us away from each other. Be open to learning and growing and learn to detach from each other. Recognize that the infatuation part of a relationship is fleeting and that REAL love has longevity and evolution. You will love, lust, hate, anger, despair, fear, adore, admire, envy, and respect each other over time. It WILL happen. The feelings are incidental. You are building a life together and have to roll with the punches and push through and the reward is a mature and natural progression. Use your brains. Not everything you FEEL is correct. Not everything you FEEL is incorrect. Use. your. brain. This goes for both men and women.

I realized after I got married and had kids is that wives do not like to see husbands content. I literally could have just finished mowing the lawn and hanging up my clothes and decide to play my game for a couple of hours after finishing choirs, and my wife would start nagging about how it’s not fair how I’m having so much time to myself and she doesn’t get to have that. Like lady I just did all the choirs and watched the kids while you would go to the grocery store. And don’t get me started on football season 😩

I've found that lying is the best way to keep yourself and your relationship happy. The longer you are in a relationship, the more a woman tends to guilt trip you for wanting to spend time alone. It still blows my mind how you just can't be honest about wanting to go to the movies by yourself, or just have one day where you binge video games and movies by yourself. Even if they say they are cool with it, you can definitely sense it in the air that it's not. Just lie and no one gets hurt.

This scene is funny. But the fact that a not-insignificant number of women think she’s fully in the right is absolutely terrifying. How on earth is having fun with friends “worse” than cheating? Sure, Pete probably should’ve sent a quick text about where he was and what he was doing, but with how insanely controlling she is I honestly don’t blame him. Her vibes just scream “I’m upset that you WEREN’T cheating on me so my anger is unjustified” or “I’m upset that you’re having fun without me.” And this is before getting into the fact that she goes to clubs and flirts with other guys without his knowledge… multiple times.
