moved from AC control+ to this, i thought my aim will go to shit due to it being faster, but i end up benching the control and maining this one! holy shit it's an awesome pad

You know I am on an AC+ now and I kindda missed the feel of cordura pads. I already gave away my copy of this mousepad.. But I would definitely buy probably the bigger version of this soon xD

I swapped my CoolerMaster MP510-L with the Fantech Zero-G MPC900. Honestly both are great with each having their own strong points

Me too, MP510 has a lot more control, but I prefer the smoother glide on the MPC900.

I bought the same pad after watching this review, quite fast, but the middle or the spot I commonly use started to get more controlled now (well its not a muddy feeling, just feels a bit more controlled) it's i think because of me breaking in the pad, still like it though :) will try the alpha unltd micro control pad that's comparable to AC+ soon.

@@KonzTech honestly don't know if i broke in my mpc450 or its a defect or a sweat issue xD also, how do you think the AC+ compares to the mpc450 in terms of glide, resistance to sweat?

They seem both ok when it comes to dealing with sweat. They're not really quite affected. But when it comes to glide...hmmmm...AC+ is probably as fast as a typical clothpad and cordura is fast AF lol

Got the MPC900. Sides wouldn't lay flat so i reverse rolled it now theres a crumple in a straight line. Kinda sad since I contemplated awhile whether or not to get the mousepad

You should reach out to fantech support and see if that can be replaced. Rolled mouse pads do tend to get those issues especially for a pad with cordura fabric(it's quite thick and harder than typical clothpads). I prefer the smaller ones since they tend to be more consistent

Have you tried using a deskmat? I'm not a hardcore fps gamer myself but I play Cs go from time to time and Paladins a lot. I'm torn whether I should buy a deskmat or go for a gaming mousepad instead. #konztechGiveaway

Deskmats are fine for aesthetics. There are bigger sized cordura and high-end pads but they're often pointless to buy and expensive so it's better to stick on a 400x450 pad. I'm maining an X-ray pad AC+/Cordura pad now and I can't imagine myself going back to cheap clothpads again xD

I haven't tried that yet. This is the only speed pad I've tried so far. My other pad here is an X-ray pad AC+

That's fine. It's your choice. And this is my first "not so cheap" mousepad so I may have missed some parts that I should've been covering. Also, I feel like cordura pads are not made for everyone. I explained in the vid that there would be tendencies to overshoot like what I experience in the first days of me using the pad coming from a cheap cloth mousepad since it's just so slippery AF. But I'll stick to what I said here - I'm never going back to cheap cloth mousepads again after this review. I finally realize they just can't compare with these pads. I'm actually using an AC+ now just to have a feel of control type pads and well...I kindda miss the feel of cordura pads. But perhaps I'm still not giving the AC+ enough time for me to get adjusted yet. I have been on this cordura pad for 2months and if not for my nature of being a tech reviewer, I would've stuck with this one they sent.

I haven't tried any Razer pads and upon checking the Gigantus V2, it looks like a cloth pad. Though, I can say for certain it should have decent quality which speaks for its brand. Cordura pads have the same level of experience regardless of what brand you buy coz they all get the cordura fabric from the same OEM. The only difference across cordura pads of different brands would be pricing, quality of side stitches and rubber padding(which relates to cushioning and stopping force). From what I researched, Cordura pads are the de facto "speed pads" for anyone that wants to get started with speed type pads coz they're far faster than any cloth pad(with the exception of perhaps very high end ones like artisan or shidenkai)
