@user-zq6nu1zo5t Thank for the offer. I don't know how long Dan would keep me. I don't own any tools. I haven't worked on cars since the 1980s. I have no money. I have no job or experience in Dan's field.

A truly beautiful car. That add on split window really looks wonderful. I am supposing that you’ll put on a touch of tire dressing before the B/J auction showing. I think the flat looking sidewalls don’t go well with the exquisite paint on the car.

Maybe I missed an explanation, but why are the side windows two pieces? I’d wonder if that would cause wind noise at cruising speed.
@Rickyboy70711 ай бұрын
Thomas train, I saw your reply to my comment. Please don't be snarky with your comment. I know that cars and trucks have had vent windows for decades. In fact I have a 65 Mustang that has vent windows. I'm not talking about the vent windows. What I am questioning is the triangular shaped piece of glass BEHIND the driver and passenger. When the window is rolled up, for example, on the drivers side, the glass has a triangular shaped piece missing, which appears to be filled in from a piece of glass that is BEHIND the driver.
@rick597611 ай бұрын
'I'm also wondering how that seals, I didn't notice any rubber on the fixed triangular piece.
@begunn11 ай бұрын
He was measuring for the triangular piece of glass in a previous episode, but don't recall any explanation.

@@robertmccully2792 I have built a few in my time. All I am asking is why do the side windows have a triangular piece of glass missing. No one can give a straight answer. And your comment is "nothing is perfect"?!?

Dan, you guys did great, it's a beautiful example of hard work, but I spotted something you may have missed, depending on how anal you are. Stand back and look at the gas lid crossed flags (26:10) on the gas cap. The flag ends are not equally even with the body spine.

PROPER overkill driving it on the trailer at the end!!i mean if u can drive it up an easy flat ramp like that without all that fukin about summit is wrong didnt need all that wood just dan being over controlling!!!!ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL CAR THOUGH im not a fan of pretty much all yanky cars big ugly boats but this corvette is the dogs bollocks
@rickgaine347611 ай бұрын
A 67 hood release on a 65? You totally destroyed the originality of the car. You will never win a trophy in a concourse class now. :-)

I'm sorry but that car is just ugly. Really ruins an iconic Corvette.
