Thank you for your more humane idea as the bats in our house have driven my wife really mad even after I had explained to her that bats eat mosquitoes and other insects. The guano / bats dropping stinks.

Thanks for loving bats! In the home they can be quiet a nuisance, but in the yard they are a great benefit.
