I have a King Kong 50. It has moved into the top spot for me. It beats out my Mesa Stilettos, Lone Star, Dual Rectifier, My PRS MT15 and myMarshall TSL100. I love all of those amps but the King Kong just flat out beats them all.

THRAAASH!, A few weeks back I ordered a Ceriatone Chupacabra 100 and I can’t WAIT (although I have to) for it to come in! From the demo you did of the Chupa 50 and a couple others I’ve heard on YT, it sounds incredible! Can’t beat the workmanship either. Nik is such a cool dude and I was more than happy to throw a little business his way and will be dealing with him more in the future. I’m an old school kinda guy and an amp with a single, killer sounding channel is all I need because they seem to clean up so well with the guitar volume.

I have a Ceriatone King Kong 50w and i think it's one of the most balanced amps I've ever heard!! I has just the right amount of well...everything!! I would love to get a 100w version just because , then i would be set!! I don't think i could ever get rid of my KK...it just ...has it!!

I've got the actual one they demo'd on the Ceriatone channel before they enclosed the head. Nik messaged me telling me it was ready and would I mind. I was like "Fuck no, go ahead." Fantastic amp. Running it through a Mesa oversize 4X12 with V-30's. Had a 100 watt Molecular too and wish I hadn't sold it.

I wonder if you have any experience with the boss tube amp expander i am thinking of getting one as an attenuation option so i can use my amps without worrying about bothering others. I am sure you are the best person to demo it as you dont mess around and get straight to what we all want tight riffs and chug.

I play at home with a Marshall dsl 20 and a Peavey classic 20 through a birch 1x12 with a 25 watt celestion gb and bought a 75w celestion creamback and it didn't really work for me vs the gb 25. Might try the cream 65

The H75 and a Mesa V30 is a KILLER balanced combo.. the Chinese V30 has a harsh high end that kind of clashes with the H75

I have the Chinese V30s with them, but they are very well broken in. The biggest issue with the Chinese V30 is the doping on the cone being very stiff, but once broken on properly (with time at high volume) they are totally different and sound great.

I wish SOMEBODY would do a comparison of the Yeti, Chupa & Gargoyle Hard to make a final decision when theres no real comparison , Im also wondering with 50 watts when you click the toggle & the volume drops......is that Dropped volume still enough for a live rock band . If the volume drop drops it to say 25 watts ...thats a huge drop.

Hey dude, I just bought a Creamback H75 to throw into my DSL40C. Sounds super aggressive and mid-forward to me, much better than the 70/80 that comes stock in that amp. Just my 2 cents. Have you ever considered reviewing the Diezel VH-4 2 pedal? I just ordered one for this weekend and I'm super excited to try it.

Hey Kyle! In your opinion do you think that the Quad Cortex would be a good replacement for multiple tube amps and boost/overdrive in a jamming/live scenario? Or even recording. Just curious if it’s a good option for someone who can’t afford multiple amps, cabs etc.. but doesn’t want to loose the feel or sound quality of a real amp. Are the Cortex captures good enough?

Yeah it was a mig supposedly a jcm 800 clone it sounded great until my tech changed out the power tubes and supposedly biased it correctly, sounded totally stale after that so I sold it unfortunately

@@belligerentamateur I use it when I jam with drummers . But it’s just like loud at 2 to where it’s pushing shit tons of air . I’m trying to see if 50 watt wizard is able to be played at practice volume . I almost got one yesterday but dude changed his mind . The MTL2 is my no 1 . It’s worth the high price ! So awesome
