There are two Marshall ++ amps. Friedmann and Ceriatone. I think that Ceriatone is better Marshall than any other. Even than JVM, a killer amp.

Yum! Such a versatile amp. Better for the studio than the stage I think tho - you can't be running back to switch 1 switch this way, another that way AND turn the gain or girth up and down, live mid song! Btw some of you best playing here... esp, if not surprisingly, on the Ragdoll song!

I have a Ceriatone Leviathan 100 and a Ceriatone 50watt plexi, both are incredible!

I couldn't make up my mind so I got a King Kong. It sounds amazing on both channels.

@@qua7771 I wanted one of those really bad, but by the time I had the money the Leviathan came out so I went with that. Does the Kong have more of a Cameron sound to it?

@@oyster7746 I can't say I ever played a Cameron, but to my understanding it is supposed to be modeled from the CCV. It certainly looks like one. The KK has a lot of switches for tone shaping. I can get a lot of sounds from it. I have the clean channel wired as a Plexi. The dirt channel is very similar to a Yeti. I was fortunate, and found one on sale from a local builder who does really good work. Ive only had it 2-1/2 weeks, and really loving it. It has a solo pre-gain control with it's own diode clipping I use it like a third channel. The Leviathan is a fine amp I don't think it would leave me wanting.

@@oyster7746 I though the Leviathan was the more expensive amp. It certainly has a lot going on. Anyway, they can make clips sound however with mic's plug in's etc... This weekend I'm going to replace some caps with Sozo's. A guess tone chasers are gonna' chase tone. Thanks for the kind words. Best.

I don't know if its the setup you have (or that most other demo's of the Yeti, Chuba, etc aren't good..) or what, but this amp sounds better to me than any other Ceriatone modded plexi amps in the series. Can't hardly get a bad sound.

Hello Leon, Hope all is well with you and yours! I have a dilemma, I hope you can help me with. I've saved my money up all summer for either a EVH 5150 III EL-34 and matching cab or a Mesa Boogie Mark V with a 412 cab. I play anything from Alice in Chains, Pantera, Tool, early and mid Metallica, Megadeth too Zeppelin, Hendrix, Robin Trower to ZZ Top and so on. I run my Revv G3 thru my effects loop as a preamp, and run my Boss DD-7, Boss Super Chorus, T.C. Electronics Flashback and Boss RV-6 thru my effects loop. And of course my Dunlop Wah and Volume pedal thru the front of the amp. Leon, for the type of music I play can you give me any advice as to what amp I should go with, with the musical influences I have. Any response will be appreciated sir. Love your channel by the way bro! 🤘

@Malcolm Reynolds Thanks for the reply and advice for the amp. I wish I had saved up enough all spring and summer too get both. But, I'm sure you know those two amps and cabs aren't very inexpensive. I’ve been thinking about getting the ceriatone lead 50, just on the edge cause they are a new company etc. After seeing the tones you and plague scythe studios get from your ceriatones i am convinced. Any opinions?
