I was the main caregiver for my father who was bed bound and on hospice at my home. I did thus through IHSS and have over 3 years of experience caring for an Alzheimer's bed ridden father. Is thus not counted towards health care experience to open up my own residential care facility for the elderly?

Depends on who you are getting clients from, Regional Center? Private Pay? DHCS? they have different experience requirements
